(Sorry if you already voted - had to tidy up my inept poll)
Not to worry.I expect Norwich to win. 2-0
Port vale getting their fa cup game on tonight, surprised at that, but suggests to me that the Walsall game at Norwich will go ahead.
I’ll go 2-1 saddlers
And draw Grimsby in the next round
Grimsby away of course….
Full respect to anyone going to this. The current weather makes this an even worse trip than normal although should warm up on Sunday and be 7-8 degrees.
Looking at some of the other ties championship clubs have and yet again the club got the short straw in open draw. Derby or Bristol City away would be much more interesting draws imo.
Norwich picked up in last two months under Clement so think they’ll want to keep the momentum up.
3-1 defeat.
Massive chance for a giant killing and a sprinkling of FA Cup magic.
Weather looks alright in Norwich, just got to hope the trains are running alright tomorrow.
If Walsall Football Police are to be believed, Norwich are expecting the game to go ahead.
Weather in that direction is more rain than snow.
Can’t see anything other than a loss…..
…….which is why when we win it’ll be so bloody marvellous.
I would love a 4th round tie at home. Not Leicester city either!!!
Five of us going and from what I can see it’s going to be a wet and windy day (but no snow) - I’m actually more bothered about the road conditions for the journey than around the ground and the state of the pitch etc!
Hoping for the headline: Canaries in a flap against the Blazing Saddlers…

The referee for the long trek to Norwich is Edward Duckworth from Lancashire. No newbie or trialist official for this one, he is a well established EFL official for some years.
He has officiated both teams already this season, Norwich as recently as 5th November 2025 in their 1-1 away draw at Sheffield Wednesday and ourselves on the 20th September 2025 in the 4-2 home win against Tranmere Rovers. He does like his cards and fairly frequent penalties as well.
As I mentioned in my preview of him for the Tranmere game match thread, in every Walsall FC fixture he has officiated there has been at least 4 goals. 0-4 away loss at Sutton United, 1-6 away win at Grimsby, 5-0 away loss at MK Dons ,3-2 home win in the Leauge Cup against Huddersfield Town and then the 4-2 home win against Tranmere which as Chris Kamara might say is quite unbelievable Jeff! .
So will this be another goal fest to keep the record going, maybe hope for a Desmond then penalties. Lets see how this one goes.
If pelanties please please hope that Pressley isn’t on the pitch…
I have vivid memories of our 1 - 1 draw at Carrow Road on January 1st 2002.
Not because of the game, which ended in a 1-1 draw, but because our minibus began leaking diesel which made traction on the icy roads even harder and it was not safe to get us back home.
Thankfully, we were with a reputable company and their insurance paid out for taxis for all of us back to DH - after an additional couple of post-match hours in the pub.
3-0 loss for me
3-1 loss for me but I hope for better…
6 nill home win …. will be too quick for our defence
Sounds like a result!
