League Two 24/25 - The Other 23

This could be the step up that Ben Sadler is looking for:

Is he looking to leave us then? I didn’t know that.

With a bit of luck

I am just doing a bit of mischievous speculation, but after such a successful first season: getting us into the play-offs for the first time in ten years thanks largely to his loan signings; increased gates ;and countless exciting off-pitch developments; he would be a strong candidate for a ride on the Beckham/Neville gravy train.

I thought so but I doubt he was involved in choosing the loan signings!

Why would we want to get rid of a person who is the best in the division at what he does and has given us more communication than anyone previously in the last 20 years?

We must have made about £250-£300k from the playoffs. We need to invest that into the playing side. If we can keep hold of the 4 decent loan players (Simkin, Asiimwe, Hall and Chang) and add 4-5 new players: Harry Smith, Dobra, an experienced centre-half, left-wing-back cover and another forward, we’ll be okay, even in League 1!

I would be more than happy with all of those. I think the most likely though would be Asiimwe and possibly Hall on a season loan if we make L1

I do find that harsh to be honest

Franchise sign Nathaniel Mendez-Laing from Derby. Looks like they’ll be splashing more cash this summer.

Decent aigning

Let’s be honest with their budget they are going to get it right one season. Early days but I’d put money on them being top 3 next season
