The owners seem to demand instant success because they’re finding transfer.
Bring a new manager in, give him funds to sign new players but no time for them to adjust to how the manager wants them to play. Sack said manager and offload players once the new manager doesn’t want them. Rinse and repeat it would seem.
Gillingham appoint John Coleman. Presume the owners had had enough after the Bromley debacle and went to get someone in place before giving Bonner the boot
I agree P.T. I know a lot say we should strengthen - and I agree as every other team will also be strengthening - but I’ll settle for going into Feb with exactly the same squad as we have now.
If as Ben Sadler has says, the plan is to exit this month even stronger then I’ll be delighted…
Get what you’re saying mate. Unlikely that we’ll have the same squad when the window shuts. In the position we’re in, you have to ram home your advantage by making sure we’re really strong going into feb. March is a ridiculously busy month notoriously. We need quality depth throughout the squad
Curtis Tilt apparently got 100 tickets to distribute to friends and family (wonder if Tom Tonks was allowed to go up to watch before his big game tomorrow as they were on football focus today) so probably a decent amount of that crowd was relatives of the players watching.
Watching the game I noticed, discord amongst Salford players on quite a few occasions. I know they got stuffed, but it was noticeable early on, and noticeable particularly when you compare that with our togetherness. When we have conceded this season it has seemed to strengthen us.
