Seeing Sir Ray was my only highlight today. God bless him, hope he has passed on a few pearls of wisdom to Sadler because my god he needs them.

Vale get a peno…and score it

All FT’s. Results go as best they probably could have done for us.

Well as much as we are doing our best to avoid promotion, it seems the others are determined to make sure we f%#$ off out this league.

That’s our get out of jail card played today, can’t have many more of them left.

Bromley will be tough, they are only 5 points off the playoffs and will be thinking if they can string a few together they can get muck like we were thinking this time last year.

Call this a wild suggestion, but could we try Levi and Wheatley against Bromley?

Maybe a bit of pace would help our long ball game. We’ve tried virtually every other forward combo and I’m sure that both would be motivated to perform well and get their hands on a medal, should we win the league.

Maybe today’s result will force Sadler to roll the dice…

We’ve had over a month off and it’s still in our hands.

Parking our shyte performance today, Bradford were charging along and have slipped up today, there is a chance this might give them a wobble mentally, and perhaps they may start a period of player burn out too.

We’ve got lucky with other results today. Can’t keep relying on other teams screwing up, the team and the coaching staff have got to regroup, rotate some players and start just working on our basic errors and get things tightened up and be more organised.

Here’s hoping anyway, what else can you do?

10 points from 11 games

Over the season that’s 40 points and bottom 2

This is not a blip

If we repeat this for the remaining games that’s bottom 2 form for half a season we don’t deserve to go up on that

I’m just gutted

No chance that Sadler would roll the dice and make radical changes at Bromley, he doesn’t have alternative thoughts or game nous, in his post match interview today he said that he told the players that we are still the same team as earlier in the season and they should believe in themselves. He sticks and doesn’t twist, over the last few months his ineptitude has cost us numerous points, this collapse is on his watch, we should have walked this league given the points advance we had built pre Xmas. Still games to be played but bloody hell he’s making this difficult.

Pretty much how I see it and I am at least equally gutted.

I listened to something recently about how to deal with tough times (in life). The advice stated that you should know that difficult moments are always around the corner but if you have faith and know that you have the courage to face and overcome them, then, whatever happens, you will come out of it stronger, wiser and thankful that you faced your demons rather than ran away from them, again and again.

Whatever happens, it won’t be made easier by negativity or gorging on ‘I told you we’d fail’ negativity. Frankly, that is what cowards resort to. It is very easy to pick holes when it is not going your way; however, staying strong, consistent and showing courage allows you to get through the dark times and walk towards the light. Collective courage can overcome any obstacle.

And as for the football, we’re making it hard for ourselves, aren’t we?
