Shocking. After watching the Euro’s and some of the brilliant continental referees, it’s confirmed that the standard over here (even at Prem level) is awful.

They seem to have VAR On lock at the euros it’s had no dramas it is some new format?

Not massively. Our lot seem to try and make it all about them and spend half an hour drawing lines on the pitch, whereas the UEFA directive seems much more slick and favours the original on field decision.

Exactly this. Instinct is to trust on field decision so unless it is obviously wrong they just crack on with the game. The way it gets implemented in the EPL is to turn it into some sort of scientific absolute. Which kills all the joy and spontaneity.
