Birmingham was one of the best away end atmosphere’s for many years. Fantastic support.
I don’t have anything against anyone who want’s to boycott the competition, but attending or not will make no difference at all to what happens in the future regarding u23 teams.
Are you suggesting the people running football are just interested in the money and their own self interest rather than what their customers (fans) want and what’s best for the game as a whole?
Just looked on the ticket site and going pretty much as expected. Quite nice in a way. There will be a healthy crowd. Subject to Leicester demand, everyone who wants to see the game will see it. Able to buy their own tickets in their own time in their own way.
Ultimately, the ground will be three quarters full. Good Tuesday night cup atmosphere. Looking forward to it.
I have a cold which has developed into an irritating cough, but the match is a fortnight away so I should be fit and healthy by then, and hope all other Saddlers are too.
I’m waiting for KC to state that the health and safety of players and audience is paramount and he fully expects the game to be unfortunately postponed due to the outbreak of coughing.
Whilst I didn’t expect these to fly off the shelf or it to be a sell out, I’m quite surprised by actually how slow they seem to be moving.
Leicester have sold theirs (2,500), so it should be a good occasion. But ours are hardly moving at all. I know we enjoy a last minute panic so hopefully we can get over the 8,000 mark. 5,500 Walsall supporters shouldn’t be too big an ask should it?
I think there’s 8 in our group who are all going but haven’t actually bought them yet. Will be a bit of a rush in the lead up to the game, especially if we win on Saturday. 7-8k is where it will land imo.
Still pissed off I’m on holiday …
Usually look forward to the break but this is different … still trying with Mrs Red&White but I’m on a final warning now …
Marriage vows say for better or worse, the same is true about following your team, but people swap their team far, far less than they swap their wives.
