Just posted on another thread - I genuinely thought the entire post (including the Nathan Lowe nominations) was fake and satire :joy:

:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy: the club will push this big time.

What a joke!

Is it possible he can win it and get sacked at the same time

So Nathan Lowe can win EFL awards but we can’t vote for him as POTS.

As for Sadler, a bit like us for 10 games, he won’t win.

He’s still in the EFL, he’s not still in the club so guess it sort of makes sense.

Is it still April 1st?

The WST

Arguably the most ineffective, anonymous and pointless organisation relating to our club going.

This is based on

Zero profile on social media
Zero profile at the ground
People even ask if they still exist

I think they collected some toys at Xmas ? Fair play.

No shock it’s that lot running this with a silly rule.

A few years ago you’d hear a fair bit on what they were up to various Initiatives. Former players at games etc

I wasn’t trying to knock the Trust. I forgot it was them that were running it, to be honest.

I guess they want someone to win who can actually be present to collect the award, I can see the sense in that. I think I am just a bit pissed off that for the 3rd season running our likely POTS winner isn’t at the Club.

I think the Trust do have people at the ground doing various things. I also think the Trust do have some contact with Trivela that ISSA don’t. From the outside, it seems at arm’s length, though. I thought it was bad that they have run the Xmas toy appeal for years and Walsall posted about it without even a mention of the Trust.

I don’t really have a problem with the Trust. I’d still back ISSA to be there for fans if there was ever a need though.

Yawn. Is this your next target for negative hate?

Regarding the trust, “ Who are ya, who are ya “ cus I ain’t got a clue who you are and what they do, totally anonymous as far as I’m concerned.

I’ve personally got no connection to, or have anything to do with the Trust itself but why do you choose to spout overtly negative rubbish about it?

Surely, they are Walsall fans like the rest of us and no doubt they spend their hard earned (and time in their case) giving to the club we love..

I just don’t understand your approach….

This.

As part of ISSA, I can relate. It is easy for others to knock people who try and do something positive.

Congratulations to both, fully deserved for their contributions over the season.

The Trust are regularly in touch with the club. They do represent us . I am a life member although not an active one. If you go to matches you can see them at the memorabilia stand in the Locker before games.

Stay behind the Curve.

@WalsallOne so we have Christmas toys. A memorabilia stand …. And a cuddly toy ? Not being critical it’s good stuff, nice - but that’s my point. They’re in dialogue. On what or whose behalf ?

What are the membership numbers for the Trust / ISSA. ? Are these readily available ?

Is this a joke? :joy:

Regarding MS. You can understand why people not closely connected with the club think he has done a good job. A mid table budget yet in the top 3 most of the season looks good. If you looked at the table of agents fees you will see what we are up against.
He has in my view made some mistakes over this bad run. The players have lost confidence and he has a big task to restore that. I doubt he can do it but if he does and we get promotion he will deserve an award.

You could join and find out. I am sure the Trust would welcome someone with your foresight.

@WalsallOne I don’t think they’re ready for the vision I’d be having. It took you lot on here 4 months to get on board with it.
