Mo Faal signs on loan

What, we’re going back to 1988-90?

Why is there no Official youtube interview?

They really aren’t very happy about it.

Someone put that interview up at the weekend. As someone else said, we don’t know what Faal knew when he said he wanted to stay. Did he know they’d be signing other forwards and he’d be moved out wide?

Would be like Draper deciding to leave us and return to Lincoln only to join Doncaster a few days later, we’d be livid.

But livid with Lincoln rather than the player. Faal was behind his Doncaster loan ending, Lincoln were behind Draper going back. And as said above, we don’t know what expectations Faal was given when he said he was happy to stay at Doncaster.

We’re not party to any discussions between a young player and his parent club .whether it’s instigated by club or player hopefully it’s done in the players interest .
, with input by all concerned .

Wow.

A proper sit up and take notice signing, this is an extremely high calibre player. Delighted West Brom have entrusted us with him. Bought my Albion supporting mate William a pint last night as a thankyou.

Well done to all those involved in getting this over the line.

Who’s that Baggie Bill …

West Brom Willy?

Shouldn’t it be ‘Grorty Dick’ as he is a Baggie?

Got to be Boing Boing Boyden surely.

Just a pint? Not a Methuselah of Dom Perignon and a quick go on the mistress?

Definition of a mistress … something that comes between “mister” and “mattress” …

I would imagine that he has chosen to come to us rather than stay at Doncaster because we are much more likely to make the playoffs and maybe get a game at Wembley than Doncaster are. In fact it looks very doubtful that they have any chance of doing so but could easily end up in a relegation battle.

I know what I would rather have on my CV, it will affect his value and his agent will know that as well.

This is the end of dj

Bit of a exaggeration,

Hope it’s not ,there’s always a role in any squad for a goal scorer finisher there’s lots of competition in the squad now it’s up to DJ to show us and the manager wether he wants it or not .with the provision that performances attitude and training is the criteria for selection by the manager.

Don’t see why it should mean DJ has to leave. When we had more success 20+ years ago we had a good amount of strikers at the same time (eg Leitao, Byfield, Goodman, Angel).
