He’s going back then
They’ll have a lot of competition from other clubs I’d guess.
That would be a better option for Stoke, although Lowe and Barry are two different types of player.
Sadly, I can see Lowe going back regardless.
Felt that his shaking hands with many of his team mates after scoring spoke a great deal unfortunately
You’d have to be a real W&nker to recall him at this point.
It is bobbins after all
Robins is certainly that. Could see him doing it just to spite us.
This hasn’t changed. Lowe was offered the opportunity to go to a League One club, he turned it down. The club cannot force him to move elsewhere on loan.
The higher powers at Stoke do not want to break the relationship with Walsall. I doubt they would let us down last minute.
How can you conclude that ? Sounds like nonsense. He started game his first game off the bench. In his second game, even though he scored 2 and got MOTM he was still consigned to the bench until Gordon was injured. If he was considered to be all that he keeps his spot after Huddersfield.
Fortune has favoured all parties.
Maybe the 90 minutes from Europe Bobins of the season award still rankles?
Anyone notice that Lowe hits the post and it goes in off the keeper.
Still think it would have gone in though…or Norman could have finished it
Norman contributed to more goals for walsall today than he did in his 2 years here
Probably depends what Stoke can do in the transfer market in the next 10 days or so
If they can keep Cannon themselves and sign another striker, that would give a big indication that he’ll stay here
Cannon has played 90 minutes in all but one game since October and that was him being subbed off with 10 minutes to go
They play one upfront and have Cannon, Ennis and Tezgel currently available with Gallagher out injured, but doesn’t look like it’ll be for long
I wouldn’t say they would put our relationship over the opinions of a newly appointed manager. One of the reasons they have had such a turnover of management in the last 14 months is down to a disconnect between ‘head coach’ and the football dev/management.
They would want to maintain the honeymoon period and really I think all the talk so far is just softening the blow and giving us a chance to find a replacement.
I don’t think there is a like for like replacement (willing to come to Walsall) in the football league, who ever it is people will be disappointed and maybe unjustly angry.
I think we can foster a bit of form out of our contracted players like DJ and Josh and still do really well!
Thought this might be of interest
We are extremely lucky to have them both - it’s completely feasible they could both make it to the very top of this game…
Has been recalled
Just had WhatsApp pop up. Thanks Nathan, do Stoke proud lad and carry on your good work…
He’s gone.
