4-2 (87 min) … and Joss Labadie on as a Solihull sub…
Great… another team thats gonna overtake us… maybe in a few years we can loan an up and coming striker from Solihull to get him match fit for them
Rushall vs Scunthorpe will be a NLN League Fixture once again next season, as Scunthorpe have just lost on penalties at home to Boston United in their play-off semi final. How the mighty have fallen.
Solihull 2 up and 45 minutes away from the final.
Tough test v them next season if they go up.
I want to see them go up after narrowly missing out previously.
I also don’t want them to go up as I think we could take a couple of players off them if they stay down!
Always reminds me of when my daughter went to a game up at scunny had the full top hospitality package .sat down for meal and waitress arrived proper Broad accent , daughter asked what the vegetarian option was .waitress said I’ll find out came back an said GOUJONS daughter said what She shouts GOUJONS .daughter said of WHAT .she said I’ll go find out goes away comes BACK shouts QUWARN daughter says what .real funny Rob .hospitality at its finest she said .
They’re gonna take some stopping in the final by the looks of it.
3 nil up now.
Got a very nice set of attackers. Big fan of Sbarra but he actually had a very quiet game apart from scoring.
Exactly the type of loan Shade needs at this stage of his career, DJT really needs to take note and do the same and get his career going in non league.
Campbell and Jack Stevens are decent.
Does feel like their year now beating Halifax and Barnet back to back. Will be favourites v Bromley/Altrincham I think.
in fairness he had 100 appearances in the FL before he went there but he looks class at that level now i agree. I saw him the other night vs Halifax too. Looks a totally different player.
Shade looked good at right wing back when Flynn moved him there. The 1-0 win at FGR was in large part due to Shade completely dominating Wilson down that flank.
As we’re on non-league, quick mention for Marine who finished third thus securing a home tie against Warrington Rylands in the play-offs for promotion to National League north.
Really hope they go up. For obvious reasons but also because it will have meant “Robbie Savage’s” Macclesfield hadn’t.
‘mon the Marine
Aww, miss the annual 4-1 home defeat to Scunthorpe, good times.
It’s alright, plenty of other games where we concede 4 or 5 to console yourself with.
Solihull Moors come up. Forward thinking Club.Well managed.
A real chance that while we aimed to reel in our Giant Footballing neighbours and close the gap - we actually go down a rung on the Midlands Football ladder.
Time we could have spent picking local talent discarded by our neighbours wasted with another local L2 club now here to compete with
Don’t be so negative! If they do come up, at least we will have a proper local derby. And we might see Labadie again, probably very briefly given his record.
I’d rather it was them than either of the others. Who wants another side from the SE or Manchester?
Solihull v Walsall has the makings of a decent derby, there was a bit of aggro when we played there in pre-season.
Behave ,looking for aggro
Not looking for aggro, not into that kind of nonsense but there was an edge after the game and derbies thrive on that tension and bragging rights so this fixture has potential if the game happens regularly.
I hope the day never comes that I feel the need to brag about beating Solihull.
Another reason for you to be happy for us to hang round in Div4 then
If it’s 2 wins over local rivals on the way to us gaining promotion I’m very happy to brag to all the Moors fans about it.
