Lakin , he’s class!
The only time I had an issue with a post you made was after Morcombe last year… you held your hands up about that, I like the challenge of reply to you because your not THAT dogged, and simply are of an old school mentality of win no matter what, no matter how.
It’s been fun watching you track back on your doom predictions before Christmas. Unfortunately your stuff about January and other stuff is baring fruit.
Personally think Lakin does a lot of the work that tends to go unnoticed.
Better balance with him in midfield rather than oisin imo. Still think we’ll get one in tomorrow to help rotate more
Feels like I’ve just beaten @Thanatos to this thread.
Not sure what he’s been smoking these last few weeks.
Playing McEntee in midfield again, nah.
Signing four new CFs and just going to Gordon again for starts after a very long injury lay off. Then puts on Adomah for Matt and team collapse.
He’s done very well this season but this is a huge test for him now as the winless run can’t go on much longer.
This managerial career won’t recover if he messes this season up.
I’m far from convinced we will finish in the top 3.
We won’t on current form.
Needs sacking
Lose next 2 games sack sadler , change things , we have never been so close and it should be promotion at all cost
Sadler is obviously lost and doesn’t know any other way to play
Haha wtf
Glad this dip in form hasnt resulted in knee jerk nonsense
Didnt take long did it? Negativity strikes again!
Dip in form is fine
These performances are totally unacceptable and the players look like they are lost and run out of drive
We simply cannot afford to balls this up
Time for sadler to show his true worth
Would you advocate for the board to call him in tomorrow and let him know he has 7 days to save his job.
Reckon that will help the pressure and dip in form from the players knowing the boss is getting sacked next week?
Do you think any other manager would touch this job after you sacked a promising manager within the first period of loss all season?
No
What a silly post
Im not the one suggesting it…
I’m highlighting the absurdity of the OP…
Whilst the posts calling for him to be sacked in 2 games are very silly…
There is a slight iota of truth in this, I see.
The consequences of not getting promoted this season are disastrous - from the position we were in. We will lose most of the squad to teams higher up the pyramid and have to start again - it’s not worth thinking about.
Anyway… to plays Devil’s Advocate.
Let’s say we don’t win for the next 7/8 games and promotion is in question.
Do we stick or twist?
Most expected a dodgy run, worry for me is that this is looking terminal.
Don’t want to contemplate fudging this up mate
Let’s get behind the lads on Tuesday.Stop the rot.
Tuesday night now one of the biggest games in the clubs recent history
