First time I’ve really felt sick in the run in as there’s always still been 5-6 winnable games left. There isn’t now, it is just two and that probably won’t be enough.
So now I’m afraid it’s all about going into the best shape for play offs and trying to avoid a Barnsley style trashing from whoever is one of the late form teams that comes in e.g. Salford or Colchester.
That does not include Mat Sadler managing, he is all out of ideas and even logical starting line ups isn’t getting any wins now.

Not going up has nothing to do with today’s result. I thought we played ok today. We actually have one or two footballers at the club. We also have some really bad footballers at the club who are getting worse.
Another game between two of the worst teams in the land and barely a cigarette paper between them. Our keeper saving us again!
Bringing Mcentee on for Chang is like taking off Trevor Brooking and bringing on Joe Broad. Chang having so few minutes is a mystery only Sadler can explain.
Our failure to go up will be all about the manager’s inability to optimise the use of the ample resources at his disposal. For which he should fall on his arrogant and stubborn sword.
Funnily enough I’m not gutted about today. My grief curve has reached acceptance. In four months the club has potentially been set back five years. Or more.
