Which footballing gods have we insulted? I’d sooner been hammered than be put through that at the end. Just dock us 20 points and end this shit show in 16th place. Had enough now.
Yeah, he made the positive changes needed, albeit Chang coming off minutes after Hall came on annoyed me after finally having them both on together. Just not enough up front.
Well Mat it’s a point on the road, your thoughts on that one please.
Yeah we gave it a proper go (gulp) but we knew it was going to be a tough game because they’re a top top side, well organised and very (gulp) dangerous (wobble wobble)
Now we rest up and get ready to go again against another top side on (gulp) Saturday.
Much better , hoofed and puffed but did f all up front to put the ball in the net Chang should have stayed on with hall ,better balls played around the box may be a game that would of suited a sniffer in DJ ,but what do I know
Can’t disagree we had the chances and we fluffed it but Simkin did have to bail us out as he did against Harrogate. My frustration lies in players that have played today such as Chang and Asiimwe have been presumably available since they joined and only now have we started to utilise them because the situation has been forced upon Sadler. Just have to pray to the footballing gods to do us another huge favour today with results.
Let’s not forget Albert’s air-head.
I thought that was a half decent fourth division away performance. We kept a clean-sheet, but somehow couldn’t take two gilt edged chances that any team worth their salt would have done which is likely why Newport lost 2-0 at home to Colchester and Notts recently. Both decent half chances fell to Stirk.
Alfie Chang literally single-handedly transformed our woeful chaotic midfield of the last 3 months into something resembling what a midfield should look like, but it wasn’t enough because when you start drinking in the last chance saloon there’s always the possibility of random shyte…and the fact that we were in there at all is all on Sadler.
Couldn’t actually care less what the others do, sick of watching their results hoping they bail this clown out. He doesn’t deserve bailing out, and I need some medical attention for the knee slide I did on the laminate when I thought that clumsy oaf had actually scored from a chance my 94 year old mother could have put away.
10 minutes against 10 men, they had to play 60 minutes without their captain and mainstay in defence and still we couldn’t break them down! The misses by Adomah and stirk were shocking and the less said abour mccentee the better. Was never a red card, it was a poor first touch by allen and he made a meal of the tackle.
