I’m sure that their blokes were all over the fourth official with their screens and replays.
Can’t argue with the decision but if replays can, effectively, be used when there is no VAR then let’s do it all the while.
They are fighting, they just aren’t very good at it!
Asimwee is levels above Barret and Gordon right now. Crazy how little games he’s had. Sadler even dropped him from the squad as recently as Barrow!

I’m absolutely clutching at straws but if vale lose today then on Saturday Wimbledon beat them then we will play Accrington with the luxury of knowing a home win would take us above them. Now wouldn’t that be something. Unfortunately we couldn’t win a one horse race with our current form but I can dream.
So two wins when we haven’t won in…to be honest can’t be bothered to count anymore…no chance.
Yeah the ref went over to speak to him. I’m guessing he bottled it originally but told the ref he thought it was handball.
Either way, they’re not secretly implementing VAR on a bloody Walsall match. Even if they had seen it on TV, you couldn’t bloody tell anyway initially. The replay was after the decision.

I’m not saying that though am I? I would just be interested to hear their process, because if he’s not seen it initially, then what changed his mind?
Ultimately it doesn’t matter and it’s not an excuse, but given this is a match thread and it was the most important moment in said match, it deserves a bit of scrutiny.

Anyway, I’ve just watched the highlights on YouTube and on the reverse angle you can see me on the front row looking straight at the linesman as soon as it goes in. Sorry for giving the game away everyone.

We controlled the game amd probably had our highest possession percentage of the season,but such a lack of urgency and movement made it feel like a pre season friendly
