He’s at the zoo with his family, just seen the pictures on Twitter :joy:

Too late for Sadler to start being sensible with his selections,he could have done it weeks ago, just shows, even he thinks his selection policy stinks now he’s getting desperate.

A collective roar went up in the pub when the teams were announced. Most happy with the selection.

Our best goal scorer , a genuine threat is not even on the bench.. whilst we have two defenders on there :joy::joy:

Lakin could also be an option last 20 mins.

It’s all about his favourites.

Probably the team I would have chosen minus Adomah upfront, another untested forward line in a desperate attempt to change our fortunes, let’s hope this one does the trick.

Don’t be fooled that Sadler has made changes we’ve almost all been waiting for.He hasn’t done it because he’s finally spotted it he’s done it because we’ve played twice in only a few days.

Did Jellis walk in on Sadler bonking the secretary but promised to keep quiet if he played every week ?

Bonkers how he’s in the starting 11

The bench is ridiculous- if fit I’d have had Weir there- he can do a temporary job anywhere across the back 5, and there’s always Albert who could drop to WB. That would leave 5 places for forwards and midfielders. Let’s remember Chang has hardly had a kick and probably won’t last 90 mins and we already know Jellis and Stirk are knackered.

37 year old winger and a Bromley sub up front, I’m seriously preying.

I suspect that Adomah will be in the 10 position ‘floating’, with Levi up top on his own.

We shall see, I suppose…

I think we will see McEntee in midfield today - he will replace Chang after about 65 minutes, and Hall will come on for Jellis. I think the game plan is to soak up pressure and then hit them on the break, hence Adomah and Levi upfront. Shame that DJ is not on the bench, but I don’t think we will see him again in a Walsall shirt. I saw him against Wimbledon at home when he started - he didn’t offer much TBH. But, he’s always a good option to bring on if we need a goal - he is by far the best finisher at the club.

It’s actually pretty warm at the min, rain stopped

It’s half a job for me Adomah up front is a no no for me .

I hope that DJ and Walsall have a lovely day today. Looking at the rain though, I wonder whether this poem sums up the last three months for Walsall supporters…

THE ELEPHANT HAS A BAD EARACHE

The elephant has a bad earache.
The centipede stubbed all his toes.
The giraffe has developed a nasty sore throat
and the rhino can’t breathe through his nose.

The mockingbird has an unclear ache.
The lion’s so hoarse he can’t roar.
The hog cannot eat, as his tummy’s upset,
and the parrot can’t talk anymore.

The doe has a pain in the deer ache.
Just what should the beast doctor do?
The duck is so sick she can’t possibly float.
It’s a really bad day at the zoo.

MS is truly clueless

An absolute must win game and no DJ but defensive back ups on the bench - Newport will be shaking in their boots (not..)

Hoping for the best but fear that once again MS will be tactically embarrassed…

If he’s tactically embarrassed by Nelson Jardim, that tells you everything.

100% - I’d have started Hall instead of Jellis.

Regarding the forwards, there’s not many decent options. Wheatley looks poor from what we’ve seen, Matt looks knackered, DJ hasn’t impressed when he’s had the chance, Harrison didn’t do much on Friday… That leaves Levi and Adomah, the later isn’t a striker though.

Be interesting to see Matt come on for last 20-30 minutes, wonder if a cameo-appearance will show more energy.

Service day .
