Newport County (H) Sunday 29 Dec, 3pm

Thanks for your concern monkeydog.

I am fine thanks and enjoying the results like everyone else. One of the benefits of my Optimism is that I was confident in my comments and had a nice bet on at 25-1 that we would win the league and its looking good so far.

I suppose we all see things differently.

In the OAP stand they ran out of pies 15 mins before the KO!

Yeah, Barrett had been one of our unsung heroes, him and Jellis working together down the right flank has been a joy to watch.
If I remember correctly, I don’t think he’s scored for us this season - a stat I find amazing given the number of times he ventures into the opponents box - maybe he’s saving a few for the 2nd half of the season.

Werthers flavoured ones?

Someone should get sacked instead of us putting up with it. They are throwing money down the drain. They’re charging £6 a pint in the locker etc to cover the losses they entail with running out of stock in the ground, pathetic.

7.50 for the below at the Poundland stadium according to bollix on Facebook

Did he order it 3 weeks ago?

I was behind the goal. My first thoughts it would be given as an OG. I dont think it was goal bound until it hit the chest of the defender. Still, they all count.

That doesn’t make sense considering the £5-£6 a pint has been like that since earlier in the season and they’ve currently have a deal on Swift lager which means if we win it’s sold for £4.

Agree on the stock issues though.
That needs to be got a grip of and also the queue situation. Not good for fans but also not good for the club if they’re missing out on money because they can’t keep up with demand in a short period of time or run out of stock.

The Locker was absolutely rammed after the game but the queues at the bar were so long I saw quite a few people just giving up and leaving.

Begging for people to be sacked is odd. It’s really not that deep.

It’s got hundreds of comments on it saying what fantastic value it is as the Guinness alone would be £6 at their clubs. :man_facepalming:

This is annoying we are flying on the pitch yet some of the old problems off it seem to remain like running out of food kit in the clubshop etc this needs to be sorted or it will put off new fans that may be dipping there toes and testing the water as we are doing so well.

It is somewhat frustrating and has been a problem for decades. The food for us plebs is the one area that has gone backwards, going from poor quality, poor service, but only slightly over priced, to poor quality, poor service and expensive.

Particularly frustrating as our hospitality is actually very good, far better than a lot of prem teams.

I gave up on the Locker against Doncaster. Took ages for the first round of drinks and queued for the second round before giving up and going out to the undercroft. The bars in the Middle were equally as slow at half time.
