Should never have reduced the admission to £2, mind you there’s still at least 3k who can get in for free.
Also didn’t think Sid went as the Locker was too dear anyway.

Yeah just seems that it’s so boring doing well that some people have to find some other shit to complain about.
How are the traffic lights?

Agree on the £2 admission. I gave up against Doncaster and luckily it was mild outside and chatted to some old friends. I think The Locker should be restricted to Season Ticket Holders and Members. Also why on earth do we have to have our wrists stamped ?

Occasionally it gets packed, maybe it will be packed more frequently if we carry on like we are doing. We should be proud that it’s packed rather than moan about it. ££££££ kerching :grinning:

While we are doing well it’s bound to be packed. If you not happy about that there are other places on the planet for your quiet pint

To be fair, the complaints about running out of stock and long queues have been going on for a few years now, regardless of how we’re doing on the pitch.

Running out of Guinness and Cowboys Payday didn’t help.
The inevitable problems that come from success and popularity.
It was annoying and I did consider hitting the road but I’d much rather this scenario than the ones we’ve experienced over Christmas on recent seasons.

I don’t.

If we’re doing gripes, my main one is the plumbing in some of the gents loos in the Lower. The one in the middle outside the Mick Kearns is particularly bad but the others suffer too from a) no or hardly any water coming out of the cold taps, b) the hot taps also bad though not quite as much but what does come out is scalding. They’ve been like it for at least the last 2 years so plenty of time to have sorted it by now.

We have our wrists stamped so we can nip outside via the back door to the food wagons, and return that way without having to show cards/pay again at the front door.

Tbf virtually every pub in the UK has suffered from the Guinness shortage.
I had a pint in the locker but the stadium bar didn’t have any.
First world problems eh !

Don’t forget our own Mat Sadler came out with some right whoppers last season.

They didn’t have any in wetherspoons in Lichfield yesterday.

Such as?
I don’t remember him disrespecting or not acknowledging the quality of the opposition. What he did do was to keep a positive attitude, protect his players, and instill confidence in them.
That’s great management in this era of football and is now paying off.

Plenty about over here. Not normally my bag, but if it is kept well, I will indulge from time to time.

I won’t be trawling through interviews but he did say things that beggars belief.

But to claim last year was good management or groundwork is questionable. Lessons learned probably. Lessons learned at the expense of loyal fans paying money for disorganised chaos- that happened !

Our defensive record was the worst for decades. Thankfully it’s now rectified and shock horror we are top. But when it was pointed out the end of last season having a good defence wasn’t of big importance it fell on deaf ears with excuses such as there was now more injury time !!

Credit to Sadler for doing his job

We have very different views about Sadler, and indeed, about how to manage people of Gen X, particularly well paid professionals, so on stuff like this, it is probably best that we agree to disagree :+1:

Oh I see …just as easy to show a card as a wrist in my view but I can see that for away fans and non Members it helps.

The Port of Holyhead being closed until the middle of January is a factor I understand.

I’m told that a lot of younger people are now drinking Guinness too.
