What winds me up pal is as a paying fan ive had the last 2 years watching the club be run unprofessionally, is it too much to want to turn up and see the players and staff conduct themselves as professionals and do their jobs right ??? If your happy with that then fair play and are entitled to that opinion just as I am, let’s get back to getting the basics right and hopefully have a decent season.

I get where you are coming from to a certain point, I made comments last season how amateur we had become, an example being during the half time interval our subs would just saunter onto the pitch and basically play " keep it upee" chat, or do a little jog!!! No warm up routine, no coaching staff! Total embarrassment we didn’t even look conference.

Tbh I’ve only been to the Leamington and notts county friendlies however can see a massive difference in warm ups, the players are being coached and spoke to throughout and taken into smaller groups.
Maybe the physio messing about and juggling the ball aint such a big deal but as I said I’m sick to death turning up watching the team I’ve followed 35 years taking an unprofessional approach to the game, one things for sure DC wouldn’t have been happy if he’d seen it.

Sounds as though things are looking more " professional " crow, and I’m sure DC will put things in place to ensure it, perhaps it was the total Miss management of our club from top to bottom that ultimately makes us fans even more angry when simple basics aren’t bothered about! Oh and the ■■■■ management from the top is still in full operation but in DC we trust.

Its so refreshing to see a Walsall defence doing exactly what they should be doing…defend.
Scarr looks so much more solid with Clarke and Sadler either side of him. I still have doubts about Norman and Facey but Pring and CM are good enough for league 2.
I still have doubts about how clinical we can be also. Gordon and Adebayo missed so many decent chances against County and have against Nuneaton, Leamington and Alfreton too.
Guthrie, Sinclair and Kinsella are robust in the middle but neither look like they want to drive forward and have a pop - sadly missing some creativity in the middle too.
Should the defence hold up we will be fine but lack of goals is a worry for me but I am sure Clarke knows this and will rectify it pretty soon.

DC has come out and said he wants 3/4 more … are you suggesting he’s taking the wrong approach there?
As I stipulated previously, i think a Striker is the priority and we should go all out on that front. Scarr has it all to prove but if Leak is one of those 15, then I d use the budget for said striker until there is clarity with Korey.
So for me its going big on a striker and perhaps another centre back (DC would judge that situation)
All this assuming we intend to setup predominantly 352.
Certainly i dont expect a few clicks of a mouse and then a player appears…

We only need a back up defender as for me Scarr Clarke and Sadler will be first choice and until Korey is back then we could do with abit of cover. I’d be more than happy if we got someone like Connor Johnson back on loan and spend the remains of the budget further up the pitch.
