Notts County (A) January 1st, 3pm

Phoenix park is the north western tram park and ride site that’s not far from the M1. But its a longer ride on the tram towards County’s ground from there, probably about 30 minutes.

6-2 to us, i agree.

Haven’t conceded a single goal since their deflected consolation in the reverse fixture.

A tough match but we are a tough team .

Hard fought 1-1 …

in the first half , then second half we take them to the Nottinghamshire Cleaners and it finishes 1-5

Some more available I think. Another 389.

What is more odd that Bradford had over 2000 there recently.

No tickets available to buy on the day and no more tickets after this lot, so get them to get in fast.

I have just looked on Walsall Official on Facebook and it seems they initially released 221 and then an extra 169.

Seems a right fuss when there is plenty of room.

I think our fitness and injuries in midfield will finally cost us here
Hard fought but 1-0 loss

Not many left according to the map of the Jimmy Sirrel stand.

Edit: Looks like we’ve been given 6 of the 9 blocks available on that side.

It looks like only the back half of the 6 blocks too, totalling (if my maths is right) 1,862 maximum in a stand that holds nearly 4,500.

Bradford took 2,157.

As football is a funny old game I’ll say a comfortable win 3-1!

It’s clear that County are worried about the Saddlers away support and don’t want to give us any advantage they can avoid, so being total arses about the whole allocation situation. This said it’s still another great following and can’t wait for this one as it was a great away day, last season. It will be tough but think we can match them despite the “leggy performance” from some on Sunday. Hopefully only Earing to add to Hall on injury list, need comms back in the squad now. I am going for a hard fought 3:2 victory for The Saddlers as both sides know where the net is. I recall away supporters were barred from Trent Bridge Inn (Wetherspoons) last season, so used Brewhouse just over the bridge (ground side when walking from Cricket Ground area) a few Saddlers in there but quite relaxed atmosphere and just a 5/6 minute walk to Meadow lane.

Might be controversial but I would play McEntee and Allen alongside Stirk in midfield and bring in Daniels or Weir in defence
Both guys get around the field well , both are capable of assisting and scoring

It’s the sort of game to chuck Neil Emblen in the middle of the pitch to mix it up .

2-0 again to the Super Saddlers.

Weather is rubbish like Vale=walsall win

And Harrogate….

As I said previously, we were playing against a gale there last season and won. McEntee’s finest hour - and I think he’ll have a part to play again this time.

We’ve got a predominantly championship Referee aswell for this.

Well they got that wrong then. 1800 Saddlers can easily out sing their attendance. 800 out sang 12,000 at Preston a few years ago.

I see there’s an L. Macari who plays in defence for the Magpies.

Turns out he’s actually Lou’s grandson. That makes me feel old.

Really annoying we’ve been restricted on a couple of occasions with away numbers this season. Chesterfield would’ve been double what it was and could’ve seen us getting close to the 3k mark like Vale for this one.
