I was thinking the same tbh! Why get Nurse in on loan if DC is going to regard Jules as his back up LB? I feel for Jules too after doing so well pre-season. Maybe DC will mix it up a bit with that 3 at the back against other teams. Guessing that Sadler won’t play too this season so if Clarke is out for some games then Jules steps in.
I agree. I thought he did OK yesterday. As you say he is learning, which should be taken into consideration when reviewing his performance relative to experienced players.
