Decent day again tbf, bit like last international break results generally went our way, could have both times dropped far but havent
Colchester Utd 1 Bradford City 1 (90 + 9min)
Early days. I wouldn’t worry too much at the moment. Vale ground out a result, which you need to do at times to get out of this division, but they weren’t impressive. Morecambe have been in the bottom two long enough to suggest they belong there.
Notts fans moaning about shithouse stuff from Crewe sounds similar to our game last week
Just saw the penalty given against them, actually laughable how it was given

Zak Kettle is the ref there. He’s a world away from his Dad.
[/quote] true and he was only a Tra-vel kettle as well, little chap wasn’t he .
Absolute wankers
You’d think that it’s in the refs’ interests to talk to each other, and come to some agreement that some teams just take the piss, and react accordingly. But it doesn’t seem to be happening, not yet at least.
I obviously want us to finish above Vale, but honestly, if we can get promoted and finish below them, I won’t celebrate any less.
We can batter them in League One next season.
Our best team in league 2 in years guest port vales team is still better
How annoying
They’ve played two games extra and we’ve still got to get 6 points off them?
So our current gripe is that Vale might pick us to the title. Imagine reading posts like that before the season started
Not really.Practically everyone is happy with this start. The " gripe" comes from someone who is so determined to find negatives, he’s turning into a parody of himself.
I would snap ur hand off to finish 3rd right now. I couldn’t care less about vale or finishing top! Just get us out the gid awful division.
These postponements are not doing us a good turn. It is far better to have points on the board rather than games in hand A tough game next week as well. UTS.
Can’t believe that our game against Gillingham was postponed yet Stockport vs wrexham was not due to international commitments?
We had five players called up. Unless I’m missing something, I can only spot one Stockport player (Touray) and no Wrexham players on international duty. Are you saying that our game shouldn’t have been called off, or that Stockport v Wrexham should?
Just playing I’m delighted where we are. It’s hard to find something to be negative about so man’s got to try x
Early days still. Win our next 2 games and we are top, lose them and we are 4th-6th. But it’s not really important either way. After those 2 games we have another 30 so if we can maintain our consistency for the coming two-thirds of the season we will go up - if not we won’t. Based on what I’ve seen so far, and the strength in depth of the squad I think it’s likely to be the former, but who knows?
Concentrate on one game at a time. Next week is a toughie but I don’t see a repeat of our last 2 visits to Plough Lane. Win it and we’re at worse 3rd and just 3 points off top spot with a game in hand and superior goal difference (for a couple of days at least). Wimbledon have a game midweek so hopefully will be a bit more tired than most of our players who have shown a high level of fitness so far.
