Open Training Session Tomorrow

I wondered what people’s thoughts were on the Open Training Session tomorrow. It is free to attend the training session.
Howecer, if you are prepared to pay £7.50 for Under 12s and £12.50 for adults (anyone over 13) you can go to The Locker and have some food and more time with the players/staff for photographs and autographs.
Do people think it is a good idea to have a paid session which gives families extra time with the players/staff? Or do people prefer the present system of the players signing autographs or taking photographs by the side of the pitch?

That price is mainly the entry to the locker and cost of food.
I’m sure the players won’t ignore a kid in the stands asking for a autograph as that money isn’t going to go in their back pockets.

I think it is fine, providing they give the kids in the ground a bit of time for autographs and photos.

First time for ages I’m not taking the kids though. Just too down about things, got to build myself up for Saturday to face it all again.

I’m taking my daughter, got my tickets ages ago. Have ummed and arred about not going but she wants to so i’ll try and separate the performances and results on the pitch and the event itself, going to be difficult though, i’ll just keep my mouth shut and take it for what it is.

Yeah, if my kids were younger I’d probably still take them. They are both down in the dumps about it too, and my youngest lad is pretty knowledgeable about football, I think he may well ask the players some challenging questions if I took him!

Hope you and your daughter have a great time.

Given the situation we find ourselves in, I’m surprised they haven’t cancelled it. It could demoralising for the players if people start having a go at them.

I’d be amazed if people started having a go at them while we are still in the mix for promotion. I’d expect people to be encouraging the players and management team, rather than embarrassing themselves.
Best stay at home otherwise.

Obsessed. I’d have thought you’d read my posts in more detail. Can you see me saying organise a protest at Accy. Nope. It’ll happen on its own and when it does I’ll be there.
Were you this obsessed with Billy Bescot.

I know it’s frustrating that we aren’t 20 points clear.

To be fair, these days are about the kids as far as I am concerned, people should respect that at least.

100% i was. I was the mascot. People mistook me for a walking period. But i managed to convince them i was a piece of red leather. I think.

Ill be honest, i ignored the thread. I just assumed u’d be up for it.

Let’s hope we get promoted and we don’t have to revisit all the things I was right on. Which I am still right on - 3 wins in 20 says so. But no promotion would compound it.

I hope you’re right but I’ve seen some of our ‘fans’ in action.

Should have bought them in January window. Would have helped to BEEF up the squad
