Play Offs

Think I’d have qualified at about +6 on account of a few pay on the days not counting.

But I didn’t even try today.

I’ll be at the home game to see the season out and then try to energise myself for another season in the fourth division.

It feels an own goal if we have fans who have done over a dozen aways and have missed out.

Let’s hope we can fill our gaff for the second leg but lots will await the outcome of the first.

Ah OK, but wouldn’t Ticketmaster pay the vat on their bit (or at least the club claim it back)?
Still a pisstake though given the drinks prices

My mate went to queue at the ground , he said there was over 200 people in front of him so due to delivery at work had to leave. I then phoned and was in the queue for 2 hours was about to give up when they answered only to be told they had run out . Another mate got his online first thing

Stupidest thing I’ve ever heard mate, using Ticketmaster to sell tickets to watch a game in a pub.

Madness :joy:

Thanks Andy. That’s what I’d expected, but no reservation invitation. Looks like I’ll have to ring.

You’re confident that we’re getting to Wembley then? That’s the spirit!

Believe the BCA, Katz and Walsall Arms are showing the game on Sunday.

Free entry as pubs don’t have overheads.

“we have costs to open”

and the rip-off prices you charge for your beer will cover them Ben.

Bloody hell!! We have had to endure most of 2025 with pathetic management on the field. The commercial side and the non football side appeared to be ticking along smoothly. I have attended some of the matches at the Locker as I only go to the odd away match. Overall it’s a decent place to go. But what an absolute insensitive action to actually charge £3 for entrance to see the play off semi final. It’s a great way to foster fan relations. It’s not the money it’s the principle. As a long standing season ticket holder I’m appalled that us long suffering fans are being treated so badly. When they should be offering some sort of compensation for our capitulation. I was going to give the rest of the season neck. But couldn’t bring myself to miss the home leg. I would be watching the away leg in a local pub if I wasn’t away on holiday. Walsall have no idea and appear not to care about the hurt we have suffered. Just a quick buck as opposed to a lasting commitment to the supporters. Don’t usually get this angry. I suppose I’m usually on the pro side of this American take over. Especially after Bonser. But this is approaching the last straw. I’ve already commited to next season. It could be my last if things don’t change drastically. UTS

It will be for many after all this when we don’t go up and Sadler still there. Bonsor wasn’t this bad.

I know I’m repeating the same thing but I’ve always said this community thing they came out with is bollocks they are here to make money and sell us on at a profit at some point that’s it.

I’m glad others are starting to see it now no more is done in the community than before they took over everything in place in that regard was already there.

Im going for the feet up with my Firestick and 28" TV and a fridge full of Keo & boxes of medium sweet red wine for the the 3 games as I’m in Paphos at the moment, so can have a laid back boozy appoach considering the wine is €1.80 a litre and the Keo is €7.90 for 8 @ 500 ml cans makes it a super cheap 3 games and its 23 degrees all day

Wish the 2nd leg was on a Saturday. I drove up & down for the 2nd Liverpool game after school (via a sleep in the car in the fog on the way back) & I have stayed overnight a couple of times but oddly I don’t seem to be as young as I once was. Not sure how that’s happened.
Glad I made the effort to go to Crewe.

Totally agree. Costs to open?
On that basis so does my local and that doesn’t charge people to get in to spend money.
So does Tesco . Imagine being charged £3 to do your weekly shop?
Utter nonsense. I won’t be there.

We would get served quicker

So basically your pleasuring yourself in Paphos as apposed to Vention red on Aberdyfi beach.

My dad got a ticket he’s a season ticket holder and rarely misses an away game either but a few of his mates didn’t and they do the same.

He cant make it now so he gave his ticket to someone who’s been home and away all season but missed out free of charge which was a nice gesture.

Some real die hard fans have missed out here that I can tell you for a fact.

I see I’ve already recruited 3 willing bar staff .
