Eleven points off seventh place with just ten games to go is exactly where we wanted to be. Flynn is far too much of a professional to allow us to peak too early and we have timed our run to perfection.
Our next match is an easy three points against a team that will be either deflated by a cup exit or excited by a prospective Wembley visit, which is brilliant planning from Flynn.
Can’t see us failing.

I can’t see the word Grimsby without thinking of the elephant scene from the eponymous film!
Just when you think that things can’t get any worse, it cuts to a queue of male elephants!
Very childish but it always makes me chuckle (I hope I’m not the only one who gets the reference - a quick search on YouTube to ‘funny scene fromThe Brothers Grimsby’ will do it, but for an adult audience!)

Got us finishing 5th on 78 points - easy!

Got us finishing exactly where are are now. Also got Rochdale avoiding the drop.
Amazingly we finish 7th on 72 points , Mansfield miss the playoffs as do Stockport and Salford.
So Happy it hurts
Right, tonight’s games. We could do with Carlisle and Crawley winning to maximise our chances of making it into the playoffs.

No thanks, we’ve already got one parliament cocking things up.
So 2 draws, now we need Grimsby to win v Mansfield tonight, and then roll over for us on Saturday to take advantage, simple really.
