I seem to remember criticism of Sadler’s post match interviews. I believe he was called “arrogant” by a few. Wow. Imagine we had somene doing a post match interview like this instead!

Just a massive win under dreadful conditions. Stirk was my MotM, closely followed by Lakin and the back three.
We constantly harassed them, not letting up and never allowing them long periods of play. A great game called by Sadler.
What a fantastic turnout by our wonderful fans, they sang their hearts out completely drowning out Vales weak attempt of song.

We made it a home game, you could see how much the players appreciated us as they walked out. Well done all, hope u all got home safe. Heating turned up while i thaw out and a few cans, job well done! UTS

Unreal performance. Not for any quality on show - but the hard work, heart and effort that everyone put in yesterday. Unreal stuff. No real point on any further analysis for me, 3 points, no injuries, top of the league - smash, grab, and back down the M6.

Thought they were cack tbh not a patch on Notts County we deserved the 3 points today in a scrappy game play them at home on a normal day I’d pick us to beat them every time
A fantastic performance where everyone gave 100%. You could see at the end what it meant to the players. The away end looked great on TV - it brought tears to my eyes!
Matt was superb. As well as the goal (where he was being pulled back), his link play and laying off the ball was brilliant. He is a real asset to us.
The Liam Gordon clearance off the line was outstanding, I thought it was in. Don’t know how he got there.
The two Vale commentators were very good and complimentary to us but kept wondering why Vale never play well when they play Walsall.
What a 6 points we have earned this week. A couple of statement wins. We played the conditions better than them. Also nice to see some good corners from Allen. Hopefully he can now continue with these when the wind isn’t blowing.
