That’s true. I don’t think anyone thought with a squad including Daniels, McEntee and the Priest we’d end up with these as our best three. It’s an incredible development of three young, raw players.

I think Sadler has shown incredible strength to drop Daniels (after he came back in) as club captain.
The confidence that gives Dave, Williams and Allen must be brilliant.

Play it on slow speed, was handball by the vale player just before the ball reached stockley anyway

I think it’s Okagbue who heads it back, understandable to misjudge the header in them conditions. The team are always covering for each other, gotta love the desire to keep that ball out at all costs.
Yeah it’s a strange one that. It does look like handball from the side angle, but not from the original angle.
What a shite hole that away end was, horrible entrance , no facilities and 30 minutes go get out at the end!

14-4 on the free kick count doesn’t seem more or less ok to me.
Salford did well taking so many down to Kent for what was a wasted journey. Bet Salford itself felt empty with so many away from the area…

Thought the ref was a bit one sided to be honest and not that consistent to the point that towards the end I wasn’t what he was going yo give or to who.

I think I read on here that only soft drinks were available due to ground regulations.
Those ground regulations have been in place for almost 4 decades, you would have thought that Vale would’ve been able to sort out a bar area by now.
Its also been 25 years (and counting) since they opened the Lorne street stand. For 20 years they only had seats in half of it, credit to them for putting seats in the other half though.
One day they’ll actually be able to make those seats available to fans. If they ever get around to putting a concourse in underneath…
