They won’t have that many.

I’ll second that mate have to say I’d be gutted if this gets postponed.See you at half 7 mate for a breakfast pint or three.

From a purely selfish point of view, I’d rather keep that game as it’s only a 5 minute drive away.
Similarly I hope us and Northampton and Stevenage are in League One next season.

They’ve got about 4/5k season ticket holders if I read correctly, I’d imagine be over 7,000 vale

Again if it was flipped we’d probs push 6,000 home fans at most

Can’t fault our away support it’s always great but I’m sick of seeing the bescot half empty

If it’s on We’ve got this .

Tomorrow’s a massive game but not as season defining as central news were making out this evening.
I’d happily take a point now and keep the unbeaten run in the league going.
As much as historically dislike them Vale fans like ourselves are proper football fans.
I’d love us to win the league and a mix of Vale/ Notts and Crewe also go up.
I’d rather play them than Salford/ Harrogate/ Bromley and Barrow ( no disrespect intended to those clubs).
Probably contradicting myself but I draw the line at the Sloppies.
I’d happily see them in the Welsh league.

My uncle is a Vale fan, also a colleague of mine in a different branch - much prefer that to Stoke fans, something about them I can’t stand.

Fans of a certain age come out of the woodwork for these sort of games, already had mates ringing me up to come, haven’t spoken to them for 12 months lol

Would Vale see a postponement in a more favourable light than us ?

Chance to play us with a fully fit squad
Chance to play with a stutter out the way
Chance to play us without our loanees if they’re called back

Hope this isn’t off !

5500 season ticket holders. Vale are one of the few clubs who only count those who actually attend whereas most clubs count season ticket holders in the attendance figure whether they attend or not. Case in point our attendance for a Tues night match v Colchester was around 4500 despite us having 5500 season ticket holders. Anyway safe travels to Bodley. Your away support tomorrow must be 50% of your average home support? Can’t fault that. A superb effort!

Cheers Valiant - looking forward to this. Really hope it’s on, won’t be the same atmosphere rearranged to midweek.

Predictions - I’m going 0-0 considering the conditions and comments about Moore being negative. I’d take that!

But if it is off we might not have Lowe up front if he’s recalled by Stoke by the time we play the rearranged game

Seems quite mental down here in south west. We just had loads of purge style auto alert messages about staying indoors.

Tornado in Stafford…

Argyle postponed

I used to get my kit off at what was Burslem School of Art in the mid 80s.
I was young, I needed the money.

I think it will be a police decision whether the game goes ahead. Safety should come first(a bit like Darren Moore’s philosophy!). Now if you were the North Staffs police chief faced with the prospect of two fierce rivals with a large away following and a home support hell bent on revenge for all the beatings you’ve given us(in football terms!) or a rearranged midweek match in January with half the away following you’re bringing tomorrow, what would you do? Hope it goes ahead. Had a tornado half a mile from where I live last night!

Sjoke won’t recall Lowe if they think it may stop you from going above us. They hate us as much as we hate them!

We yearn such mutual dislike.
