We haven’t been bad at all, Only one person to blame here!

Asked him why he always had a face like he was chewing a wasp…

Probably get a better answer asking Clarke about badgers🦡

Bet he would be brilliant ‘coaching’ them as well!

For quite a few games now we’ve not managed to play well for a full 90 minutes, usually it’s been one good half and the other pretty much meh. Let’s hope that wasn’t our good half in this match!

Good start, nice goal to score, good period of play but later they returned and scored another quite nightmarish goal for keeper. Some players need to step up, Gordon for example.

Apparently, he had a game of tennis against a partridge and a badger at a cigarette lighter factory. He won, “Game, set and match”…

Poor first half performance from us. The ball just keeps coming back every time. We need to string 2 passes together.

We don’t seem to be coping with passing on the bobbly pitch which seems to be cutting up as well. Heart in mouth any time ball goes near Roberts.

Vale commentator summarising their goal at half time, “Thought about going with his hands, then his feet, then in the end he did neither. Really poor effort”. Not much else to say really is there…

Well that was disappointing again. That goal certainly boosted Vale’s confidence and we looked poor again by the end. Dont know what’s wrong witn Josh today but he ain’t at the races first half.

I’m sure Lavatory will come on 2nd half and score a couple of belters🤔

White is absolutely dog ■■■■■. Sideways header and then a stupid foul. One man wall when they already know Conlon scores worldies. Then add to it Roberts dying swan

Another calamity from Roberts! A professional goalkeeper should never be beaten from 30+ yards out when the ball is hit low and straight to him. No excuse for that.
Apart from that we played pretty well, we allowed them into the game after they scored. Both teams pressed well.
Good showing from Wright so far, he hasn’t had a lot of the ball but has done ok with possession so far.
A bobble pitch and head tennis negate it becoming a great game, we need to keep it on the ground as we’re a much better team when we do.

God help us if Ade gets injured for a long time, we’ll be tom tit fodder.

Those of you who felt Tuesday’s game was poor must be seething having seen this. Very poor stuff not helped, of course, by a very poor pitch. Not Vale’s fault but a mixture of snow and ice is not good.As others have said Roberts at fault for goal unless it got a deflection . If it didn’t then it was an awful piece of goalkeeping. Lets hope we can do better this half.

When we sell him we are buggered, Gordon looks off the pace, so that leaves us with Lavery…need anyone say more?
What a ship squad Bagdeman has built us, get rid now, we need fresh impetus, fresh ideas, these lads seem to lack any ideas of how to win matches, very disappointing and frustrating to watch.

DC will turn Lavery into a 20 goal a season man :+1:t2:

Yes Roberts should still have saved it but…if you put him there as a wall the very least least Gordon could do was actually stand and face the ball and stick his leg out to block it instead of turning away from it not exactly rocketing at him, and at knee height!! Absolute basic stuff all round that again lets us down.
