I’m done with Sadler now, he’s clueless!
To late to sack him now, but he’s done… never a manager

Can’t wait for the “we’d have took this position in August” posts that are completely devoid of any context.
A disjointed and apprehensive performance.
Sadlers a form manager, he has proven this over the 2 years. 9 on the trot before that as well as great runs last season (and bad ones) and yes that was with Lowe but the likes of Jellis looked class at that point as well. Maybe being knocked off the top gives us the kick up the backside we need. I won’t judge until the 46 games and if we do up then we’ve had a remarkable season even with this awful run. If we don’t and bottle the play offs then it’s going to take a lot of getting over.
On the plus side we don’t have the stigma of league leaders hanging over us.
On the negative side that’s because we aren’t.
Completely agree.
80% of this capitulation is on the manager for me.
He’s been dog shit during this calendar year. If his strategy was to get a 3 year deal and then be as bad as he could possibly be, I’m not sure what he’d have done differently to be honest.
You look at the eleven that were left on the pitch today and there are no leaders, very little quality, no heart or desire.
If we don’t go up, and I’d be amazed if we did, then he can go in the summer for me. We are now relegation material unless there’s a step change.
I’d love to know what he said in that huddle when Hornby went down.
Glad other fans ? I’m the one told I’m a troll when I’ve been identifying these problems since Christmas. Sorry for not being sorry. But I said this was happening
3 days ago I shouldn’t be complaining about Sadler …, but today I’m one of many
This blind optimism hasn’t helped anyone
2nd half… players were shit and the fans were too.
No effort from either.
Bye 1st place
Yeah blame the fans that’s good. Clueless
Just seen Lakin in the bar, asked him why he wasn’t involved today.
He shrugged his shoulders and said no idea , and left!
You can dress that up all you like but it was a disgraceful effort to try and stay top of the league no fight from the players no guile or nous from our manager four or five of them players should be kept away from the first team next game stirk Jellis okagbue Gordon Matt I wouldn’t even put them on the bench
4 out of 5 very winnable games and it would be positive to think we’ll take this on the chin and move forward.
BUT
Where is the unit mentally? Can see this going one of two ways, but I think Vale will go on to win the league. I was there when we triumphantly wrested it from their grasp and it was kind of set up today for the momentum to allow them to be avenged. Fair play to them and the best team won on the day.
Had us to draw two and lose one in this spell, then draw at Barrow and still go up, but … who knows?
Couple more defeats and qualification for the play-offs could be under scrutiny.
Especially facing Crewe last day.
Realistically the only chance of beating Vale today in our present form was” because we always beat Fail” In the cold light of day it was a game we were most likely to lose actually .lets see what we can do in the games to come we might have a chance to win .thats all we can hope for now .whats done is done .
Didn’t you also say we wouldn’t make top half this season?
Would have preferred to see DJ come on rather than Wheatley, who again looked like a youth player in a men’s team.
That’s just it.
Had it been spread evenly, it would have felt like a better season and I’d have been hopeful.
Did he say yeah, no, definately?
I’ve watched loads of football over the years as have many of you on here and unfortunately my team is going to be part of the biggest collapse I’ve ever witnessed. It’s the equivalent of watching someone you love dearly slowly fading away from you all over a period of time. The manager doesn’t seem to have another angle to come from and the players just look fatigued and beaten. For me personally massive emphasis is on the home games against Accrington and Harrogate. At this moment in time we have spectacularly collapsed.
I don’t think we have anything to lose if we sack him now tbh . There might be a bounce for a new manager. I take no pleasure from saying this but I think sadlers race is run.
