Port Vale tickets

Notice they offer free entry for carers do we do this also? My son is Autistic and i take him.

Just over 2000 tickets, i reckon we sell those out easily.

Yes - from our ticket site: “Disabled supporters are charged at full price for their age category and they are entitled to bring a carer free of charge.”

Not forgetting that this is on TV for those that can’t get there…or can’t get a ticket.

I bet if it had been a proper kick off time of 3 o’clock we would of took over this being how well both teams are doing atm

It may have changed, but they wouldn’t let me do that with my Son. Was about 5 years ago now and it was free for kids at the time, so it may have changed. Worth asking at least.

We do offer free entry for carers, I think this is an FA requirement , every club in the pyramid offers this. But they do tend to require some sort of evidence, either blue badge or PIP etc.

In answer to the original question - as someone who has a more obvious disability, and in receipt of PIP, I can confirm that Walsall, and indeed, in my own personal experience of over 30 years, every other team no matter what the level DO offer a free Carers ticket.

You might have to jump through a couple of hoops at first to get on the “system” - and quite often have to do this with every new team you go to (if you are looking at away games) that normally means sending a scan of the PIP Award letter.
But once that’s done, it’s done and tickets are just a case of calling (online isn’t available a lot of the times)
Saying that, I do find all the teams I’ve dealt with to be very helpful.

Hope that helps but happy to answer any other questions

Worth noting that away fans are no longer situated in the end that we’ve been in before, we’ll be in the opposite end behind the goal, so maybe 2026 is all that it holds?

Edit: It holds 3300, so potential for more if need be.

Was gonna say I’m sure it held around 3k. Would be nice to take 2k+ up though for this which I imagine we will do.

Correct.
We will be in the Bycars End.

I know that when they moved away fans there, they were unable to sell alcoholic drinks, because the only outlet had a view of the pitch.

I don’t know if they have now sorted this out.
If they haven’t, then no half time pint!

Knowing Tinport Vale, they probably haven’t sorted it, they opened their (main) Lorne Street stand in the late 1990’s , it took them another 20 years to put seats in half of it.

They still haven’t finished that stand and those seats are still awaiting customers, they can’t sell them because they haven’t completed the concourse to allow access.

25 years since that stand was opening and they still haven’t finished it.
They have to be the most tin pot club in the entire EFL.

Thanks ive looked on our ticketing website and it doesn’t seem to let me do it at the moment like you said. I don’t have a season ticket so pay on the day can be expensive with 2 adults and 3 kids my wife only really comes because of my son and to help with him so it would be good if she could get in as a carer

The allocation will probably mean that all of us who wish to, can attend. Just.

This will be my third side at Vale Park. My first visit there on 79/80 saw some of us in the enclosure on the side as we’d filled the terrace behind the goal. Been in what was until this season the away end about a dozen times and now I’ll get a go in what used to be their equivalent of the street end. I knew we’d take it one day!!

Really hoping we can continue our fine form. A top versus second local derby would be wonderful.

AÄşl clubs do it. It is law, there was a legal ruling a while bacÄ· that it was descrimitory not to because it would mean some people with disabilities would have to pay more than people without such challenges to access the same services.

I’d give the ticket office a call they’ll sort you out, they’re pretty good in there.
