Probably give this a watch tonight. Hoping for a Port Vale win, keeping a gap between the playoff and auto positions. Im guessing that Crewe will adopt the same tactics as against us, falling over, wasting time, stopping the game. Whatever the result I hope Vale score first to open the game up.
Hoping for a right scrap. Sendings off. Few niggly injuries.
Game abandoned after mass on-pitch brawl, 22 red cards and 10 points deducted from each team. Not that we would need any of that but it would make me laugh.
Looking on Sky bet, “How many times does the Crewe phsyio come on”
Crewe will do all they can to keep the ball …….,in the dugout.
Crewe will shithouse, but I suspect Vale will win.
Think I’d prefer neither of these taking 3 points, and a draw would suit us best.
Agreed.
Wouldn’t mind every L2 game that we aren’t involved in from now until the end of the season being a draw.
We would have a cracking chance of being promoted by March…
After taking the lead in the tenth minute, the Crewe goalie (on loan from the Vile) goads the Vale fans and is promptly felled by a stale oatcake thrown from the terraces. Whilst he’s receiving medical attention the matchball is hidden in the Crewe dugout for 80 mins. Crewe get all three points and the head ball boy and the car park attendant are both yellow carded.
If we win tomorrow we need a draw tonight, because next weekend is cup weekend but Crewe are 1 of only 4 teams playing in League 2 next weekend at Carlisle which they have every chance of winning, which means if they draw tonight, we win tomorrow, even if they win at Carlisle they won’t go over us
Early days. We’ve only had about a third of the season. I wouldn’t worry too much about places at the moment. Just keep on doing what we’ve been doing.
I’d prefer a draw in this one.
Very sensible perspective but it’s hard for us to not be excited by the top of the table positions at the moment
It’s hard not to dream and we all do deserve a bit of dreamy time.
That said, my logical side suggests that nothing at all is guaranteed a third of the way through the season and the only gaps we should be currently focussed on are the gaps to fourth and eighth.
A few niggly injuries? You are getting too mellow in your old age. Im sure you meant loads of season ending injuries
I’m trying to chill a bit fella.
Blood pressure and all that.
To early in the season to worry about the result.
Although I fancy a draw.
Vale lose and it’s a win to go top tomorrow…
Current table predictor has us finishing 1st on 112 points, 20 clear of Vale in 2nd, so I wouldn’t worry
