Who knows, maybe it will help us in the run in?
When’s Peter Hart coming back?
Waste of a room
Not for people who want to use it
Surely people can go 90 minutes without feeling the need to pray…
Observant Muslims pray five times a day, including the Asr which takes place during the afternoon. In previous seasons I have seen people praying in the undercroft area below the OAP stand, but obviously that is not really possible now.
As Saddlers fans I doudt it🤣
Couldn’t write it on here. “We need to tap in to the Muslim/Asian community in Walsall” has been cited many times on here. Walsall FC then provide a prayer room for individuals of that faith or persuasion, who may use it and benefit from using it, encourage others to attend, and we respond with “why have we done that?”
Still waiting for the much needed sensory room for supporters and families that will help with matchday experience ?
I’ve emailed the club and asked when will this happen time and time again, same answer we are looking into it and finding a suitable place, looks like a prayer room is of more importance.
If we’re 0-3 down at HT, you won’t get a look-in at the Prayer Room…
This is a good thing.
Well done to all involved.
Altough it has been funded by a muslim organisation and will of course most likely be used in the main by muslims, if you look it is a multi-faith prayer room. If you happen to be a devout Christian for instance and you want to use it you can.
The response is how you would expect on Facebook. The brainless drongos love to moan about nothing don’t they? Idiots
What’s there to complain about? I don’t get it.
I used to just go to the Fullbrook.
Perhaps we need a bit of divine intervention following the results of the last 4/5 games to smite our opponents with a plague of locusts and pestilence and bring us a deserved glorious victory
Perhaps we should all leave the undercroft & locker in good time at five and twenty past two to form an orderly queue to pop into the room to offer our prayers in the hope of the ensuing triumph.
And surely people can go 90 minutes without the need to drink or eat and yet the place is covered in kiosks and bars.
That’s because for some people, the overall experience and day out is improved by having those things available.
And maybe for some having a prayer room will also improve the day.
I’d agree with The Crow I think a sensory room would have been a better idea I have problems with my 7 year old who’s autistic he’s just one it might benefit.
Nothing against it but it does seem like a box ticking exercise at the same time.
Could the room be of benefit to him as it’s quiet and I imagine clean / well furnished? Might serve a purpose as a nice refuge if he is overstimulated.
Really good to see the club doing things like this - might attract a few more fans too. Well done Walsall FC.
