Pre Season Friendlies 2024

Website has a Kobe Wilkes listed as a youth player. Number 3, but Weir is playing so presumably not a left back. Guessing between him and the newer trialist they could be a RWB and a CB, assuming number 7 and 11 are the same as Wednesday

If Adomah is there and not playing, I see that as a good sign, that he is part of the plans.

I would say so as well. He’s sticking around long enough to indicate that

No chance we’ll be risking first teamers on this pitch.

Sorry, wasn’t following the thread. But let’s not give him more ammunition to start

That makes perfect sense Bags :thinking::thinking::thinking:

Given our hottest prospect and probably most saleable asset in Maher was sent to Rushall for most of last season who guess what… Have a plastic pitch

Sam Hornby is the trialist keeper

Weir seems to be playing on the left of the back 3.

You haven’t even seen Kamwa play, are your basing your dissatisfaction with him on his history?

You and many others had written off Draper based on history…

well YES to answer your question. Picking up the scraps from Burton Albion as well as a pretty dire goalscoring record whilst he was there certainly dosnt the juices flowing

Ur right though. That’s in the past. See what he can do now

First real chance - Trialist D (21) with a great touch and cross from the left, blazed over by Kamwe. Almost picture perfect.

Someone at the game spoke to Albert he said they are hoping a deal will be sorted this week for him to join us.

If the pitch is such a concern why are we playing this game at all?

Part of JJ deal I’d imagine

I did wonder that myself

Your not alone in that dissatisfaction, after many years in this league the most dogged and determined supporters NEED results and pray for a big name moves, all we can do is keep paying and turning up and shouting support.

Fact is many clubs you would of seen of as lesser than us are bigger now with more professional set ups, we are catching up but were stifled post Smith till last year in my opinion, the last throws of bonsers era and abit of poms.

It’s all been done to death and debated but rather than pining* for the past we can move forward and one easy method is picking up and developing seemingly lost causes with plety of potential balanced with players that have experience.

Get to a few games early before all the hope fades for another year .

If we get Albert and Mo, i will be reasonably happy with the fine tuning. Maybe another striker and away we go.

HMS Piss the League :stuck_out_tongue:

Or Dion/Dionne/Deonne

Looks a poor turnout but bet most are still in the plethora of good pubs in Tamworth
