Prediction League 2: 2020-21 Table

It does change your perspective, Checking the last few minutes of Cambridge- Orient hoping that there won’t be another goal!

When I get as low down in the table as you, I will.

Changes my perspective. Every time I look you’re getting closer!

Same here

You’ll always be 13 hours ahead though (until the clocks change anyway).

Better than 17 points behind, like a certain eastern pervert…

Updated table after yesterday evening. A little bit misguiding as there were so many p-p games and the table now looks likes a teenager’s face riddled with acne but hopefully it will ‘clear up’ in the first couple of months of 2021!

The winning score last night was 2 points, achieved by Harlequin, Bluejay and WillenhallWFC - well done all!

The thread for Saturday’s games are already up and running. Let’s hope the weather and Covid eases up so we have a full set of games.

I’m beginning to think you have a blind spot when scoring my predictions (as poor as they are recently). I did predict a draw for Barrow v Tranmere though and again you owe me one point please. No offence meant JJ

No offence taken! My apologies - I honestly don’t have a blind spot for your scores! Genuine, unfortunate coincidence and it probably won’t be my only error as it was a bit of a nightmare after last night trying to keep tabs on everyone’s p-p games and scores too! I will add on the point owed again when I do the next table update after Sat’s games. :+1:

I think I got a point last gameweek, for Leyton Orient v Southend United 3-0.

There ya go, knew I’d make another mistake! It’s all this damn covid throwing me off!!
My apologies Michal - I’ll credit the point back on the next update. :+1:

Having got null points yesterday… can you check through @Exile’s predictions to check that you haven’t inadvertently given him points that he doesn’t deserve ?

I have bribed @JollyJohnny to ‘lose’ points from challengers. He keeps on doing it, I don’t send him ■■■■ pics… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No problem. End of year can be tough, even without Covid.

Well that was possibly the hardest game week to try and keep tabs on and collate results for!
So many games being postponed shortly before kick off or even during games and people editing and re-editing predictions, there is now a ridiculous amount of p-p games to be played out at some point! Typically it was the games that everyone wanted to predict that got called off, not Grimsby, Bolton or Mansfield!

Anyway, here is the updated table after sorting it all out! As you can work out, there were a lot of blobs today, but the winning score was 3 points, achieved by Jayelar - well done!

The Saddlers have 2 weeks off now, in which time I hope they sort their shizzle out, but in the meantime, there is a game week next Sat as there are (currently) 6 games scheduled, which is exactly half a set of fixtures and just counts for our little comp! If any get called off in the week or before kick off, then we’ll scrap the week - we’ll see how it goes.

Blimey soon I’ll have more pps than points

Can I be awarded 27 bonus points for successfully not predicting any PP games. Some sort of bonus should be due

I think that should be considered at the end of the season.

Updated table after yesterday’s games as well as the two p-p games that were played on Tuesday night that accrued a few points for people. Overall scoring was a bit low but the winning score was 4 points, achieved by WillenhallWFC and stig231 - well done to both of you!

That is the 5th weekly win for Willenhall and the lead in that respective table with Morty on 4 wins, after that. There were 3 p-p games yesterday so I have noted them all down as well as looked for when all the other ones that have been banked up are due to be played. A lot are being played in the first couple of weeks of Feb so we will hopefully see a truer picture of the table after that, unless we have a lot more games postponed between now and then, of course!:confounded:

Although there a a good few games this Tuesday, 2 of them are p-p games and the Carlisle one is off, leaving only 4 other games, hence it won’t be a game week. The thread for next Saturday is up and running.
