Reading (H) Tue Dec 10 7pm - FL Trophy R2

No but he’d have been nailed on to score those chances.

He does, quite often
Would like to see it again to see if he was fouled

In all seriousness now lads and lasses. What a year, season, whatever you want to call it, this is turning out to be. Long may it continue.

Well, that game in front of 1501 people will go down in legend. Now we have a smile on our face, the misses just add to the entertainment. And it really was great entertainment.

When DJ scored, he just flopped down in sheer relief.

Reading played their reserves but, by and large, so did we. and ours looked a class above theirs.

A good performance but we should have been out of sight within the first 30 minutes. We were poor up top tonight. Everything else was excellent.

Reading really were abysmal.

I said that against Leicester, you think by now someone would tell him to pack it in and concentrate

You didn’t mention the goalie dropping the ball

Really enjoyed that match.

Reading were very poor first half and we bullied them for much of the game - winning 50-50’s and some balls we had no right to win.

For their goal, looked like Hornby caught the ball - then lost it on the way down. He was claiming a shove but if there was, the ref didn’t see it.

Nobody in a red shirt had their shooting boots on tonight - Lowe, DJ and Albert included. Honestly thought it was going to be one of those nights.

Wonderful volley from DJ- virtually last kick of the 90 minutes. Thought he lost confidence mid-way through the first half after that miss. Something about this team though - they keep going. Just glad Sadler kept him on! - He’s always a goal threat even when he’s low on confidence.

My MoM though is Sam Hornby. Two good pen saves, and his quick clearance was the reason their keeper sent off, and also he started the attack which set Cleary off down the left for the equaliser.

37 shots and our keeper is MoM! - What a crazy and entertaining game. Love this team UTS.

I tell you something, if Simkin had conceded that goal tonight, he would have been slaughtered on here.

Penalties aside, no need to take Simkin out in my opinion. Good to have a good back up though.

Anyone at home, I’d say apart from Blues, but it would be a decent occasion.

Always guaranteed to get on the end of a cross.

Tbh watching there goal again it does appear that Hornby is fouled but what’s disappointing is the fact the defenders just stood and watched , not one of them went to the ball to close the shot down

Always nice to see The Biscuitmen crumble.
