Not disagreeing mate…interesting conversation though!!. Djt work rate is the biggest issue for me even if his quality isn’t very good. Needs to work harder and show the hunger…not sure he has it in him. Hope he proves me wrong!!

Absolutely scored a load for york and was in a right bad team with us. Fair point!!

Raising money to bring Evo home was the most important point about tonight. Hope his family get him home soon  :blue_heart:

Impressed with Stirk and Draper. Looked so much better once they came on.

That’s the thing for me. He’s lazy, disinterested. No running in him. Get rid

He’s not very good but to call him lazy is rubbish

Zero work rate and effort. Call that what you want. Lazy??. Can’t you see above that other people think the same???

It isn’t just me.

Can not believe that of any young player who has just got a contract. Give him a chance.

I don’t want to give him a chance. I see no running, effort or passion in any game he’s played for us . And that is non negotiable to me. That’s up to me isn’t it???

Abit harsh

Yes, but you could just keep it to yourself.

But totally predictable.

Why is it. I don’t see him chasing lost causes running himself into the ground. And let’s face it that’s all he can give cos he can’t play football

Lol. This isn’t some happy clappers united society. Douglas pulling off many more performances like that hundreds will be booing him off the pitch. What are you going to do get upset with all of them lol!!!

Big assist from their keeper - as there was from Hussey for their goal.

I’d echo the previous comments on here that it wasn’t the first time he’s given the ball away cheaply during the friendlies so far.

Apart from that - no creativity for the whole of the first half with Comley and Riley playing together in the middle. Stirk looked head and shoulders above both when he came on.

Knowles improved over the course of the game - he looks better when trying to drive into the box rather than crossing from wide.

Gordon had a couple of moments but Allen looked better in the shorter time he had on the pitch.

Trialist A (the mystery keeper known only as Ben Garrett from Burton Albion) did OK.

Matt and DJT still aren’t staking any claim for the number 2 striker alongside DJ, but Draper made a few people sit up and take notice from the first time he touched the ball. Only 18 but fast and strong - not out of place in the big boys’ league.

Matt is a level below djt now though
Matt is utter useless, like Abraham’s level quality now . Whatever he used to have is gone .
We desperately need a new striker who’s quality else when dj is out for any reasons we are in big trouble

Disagree… think he will get better as the season goes on

Matt being below djt. I wouldnt quite go that far to be honest

Atleast dj has age on his side and can actually run
Matt is shot to pieces and has been since January
There’s a very good reason fgr we’re delighted to get rid
