I’m still trying to work out why we only have the 15th highest budget in League 2, when we have the 7th highest average attendance and made over a million pounds in transfer fees and playoffs income last season! Where’s the feckin money gone?!!

if those figures are correct which I doubt we did lose £1.7 million up to May 2024, The accounts up till May 2025 will tell us a bit more I suppose. They should be published soon.
Don’t forget our significant revenue stream from corporate activities such as the meetings venues, social events and digital advertising signage… Also the obvious increase in revenue from merchandise which is evident when you look around on match days….
I’m in the Trivela are positive group and I’ve never hidden my preference to their ownership rather than the previous regime but I do wish they’d be more realistic regarding what’s required to get us out of this crappy division and in doing so, treat us with a bit more respect when it comes to matching our ambition as fans…
That is about as low of a bar that you could set.
They have made improvements no doubt about that. I still go back to there statement about playing front foot football and a style that everyone can enjoy. I feel like they know next to nothing about football and are relying on others, which is fair enough. They have appointed someone new in recruitment, give them some money to try and do better than last January.
