Players like those, not those particular players. Someone who is not in the first team regularly but can be prised away on a permanent.
This is going to sound very negative.. but Warrington was a cheap option, and Finnigan probably wasnât for sale, but if he was, or someone else of his quality, would of cost the club more than Warrington.
Watched the Blackpool v Carlisle game tonight. Blackpool didnât look like a team struggling at the bottom of L1.
Having said that, I think there is probably more chance of losing Finnegan than Kanu in January
Blackpool looked ok in midfield and likely to score at will and they have player in the middle on the way back from injury. They were poor at the back though and look likely to concede. Rather than Finnigan they need a Weir or a Flint.
Just seen he is up for league two player of the month for November
Nice of them to not include Mat, give others a go at it for a change ![]()
Itâll likely be Danny Cowley - the pundits seem to really like him
Just hope Dack doesnât win the POTM - nasty little man
I hope Dack does as he will go missing then and be of no further use in the season. Can concentrate on his cringe worthy TV programme, if he still does it that isâŚ..
Mmm, mentions Finnigan is indispensable - not sure I would go that far
Apparently heâs good at working other managers out (clearly not all of them though) ![]()
âNasty little man â did DJT call him that, is he up for it .
And so it begins . Ah the joy of a midfield of Jellis, Comley and Warrington ![]()
I do hope this opens the door to Holman though
We get what we deserve every year. Beyond boring now
Some say we need these type of loan players, yes I agree to an extent, but if they do well for us and get recalled we should be prepared to replace them with equal, or an even better replacement, or otherwise we will just drop down the table when they leave us, and then what was the point of getting loans in in the first place if this is allowed to happen.
No good doing well for just half a season.
We should be able to sign our own players to compete with Bromley. Stevenage , burton and many other clubs with no fan base manage it.
i understand that we can get a temporary boost by loaning in talent that we cant sign permenantley - but we need to have replacements or homegrown contracted players ready to fill their slots almost immediately for when they departâŚ.its not a very sustainable model and the evidence is annual second half of the season collapse
Thank you Ryan for your contribution and good luck.
Personally, this gives us an opportunity to bring in someone who can bring something different.
