Ryan Stirk Departs

Behave :joy:
Most of the country doesn’t know which league we are in.

Who have also signed an Airdrie player.

Yeah, it’s not that bad in that respect. I’m more than capable of batting off a bit of stick from a few dingles or whatever, mention the mid 80s, or Chorley and they run up their own arse.

The pain is more personal to us.

Only in Wolverhampton and Burslem

Delighted he has gone. Stirk has made the decision for Sadler that Sadler would never have made. No more watching him nearly winning a tackle and then remarkably failing to come away with the ball or panicking under the slightest bit of pressure.
Considering his number of appearances and position on the field he contributed very little.
Like Liam Gordon he is totally replaceable.
Dont forget we failed last year and thus need to ship some players out. Of course the main one who should go (Sadler) is staying.
UP THE SADDLERS

Meh. I’d of kept Stirk, but Taylor Allen is the only one I’d genuinely be disappointed to see go.

I agree. Cook’s approach means he will be one of a number of players who are confident and fluent on the ball and willing to take it on whereas, with us he often seemed to be the only playmaker in the team, especially when the form of others dropped away.

He just wasn’t willing to take the ball in any areas most of the second half of the season though. And yes I get that our style of football isn’t great. Me and the kids watched him in games when we had the ball hiding, standing by an opponent rather than look for the ball. Maybe that was one of the reasons we played so much hoofball?

Well he has legs so stands some chance :crossed_fingers:

Stirk will not be irreplaceable BUT who would want to remain working under Sadler. The  has cost is more than promotion as we are facing a massive rebuild which means we will likely have a season of mediocrity. I will never take to MS and have lost faith in Trivela and the loss of momentum lies squarely with both parties … painful month ahead :man_facepalming:

Ryan Woods’ legs have gone, if you read Exeter’s forum

I agree with you about Sadler, and Trivela. The thing is, a lot of these players need to take part of the responsibility themselves. They should have been able to do better even without a manager. Then they just swan off, which is their right. I’m not sending any love with them.

I will be shocked if they don’t go up next season, they will absolutely finish above us.

Fans are divided as you might see on here

Hes probably still as quick as Stirk he was a bit slow at times for me.

What I hate about players leaving us is when they go to a club in the same league.

Moving up a league, or dropping down I accept, but the same league, that doesn’t sit right with me.

I dislike the scouse accent with a passion, but I find myself wishing we had Cook in charge next season rather than MS.

Unless we sign some good players there will be a lot of teams finishing above us
