Halfway line in the cowshed for me too - at the front leaning on the low wall when I first started going with my dad in 1973-74 - then graduating to the crush barrier halfway up where the roof started. I remember that copper too - he used to let me in when I was with my dad but not when I was with my mates!

My late mom used to work at that Laundry when she was a teenager!

Yeah remember us scoring there, a great cloud of dust erupting when we all jumped for joy!! Now that it has been finished (money problems) their new ground now makes our bezza look like a breeze block and corrugated tin shack.
Anyone else remember our team scoring away from home? We can but dream!

I remember climbing up and sitting on top of that wall much to the annoyance of the “owd uns”.
And boy did they laugh when a certain “Cannonball” missed the goal with a shot and hit me knocking me clean off it.
Happy days eh ?
