I’m guessing this is going to be similar to Evan Weir. Will come back next season and provided competition and cover for Barrett next season - or be his replacement should he be sold.

Yes, it seems we’re taking an approach of continuously planning ahead rather than waiting to the last minute and taking whatever players are free at the beginning of a season.

I definitely didn’t see our first 2 signings being RWBs, but he seems a decent signing regardless.
It’s nice to see us planning ahead and building for the future.

Nice to see we have alot of young players coming in, should mean in a few years we should reap the rewards.

Watched him in their cup final, he was very good .
Great to see the club is now seriously building for a successful future.
There is no denying, we do things very differently to not so long back, now.
Player recruitment is everything in football, doesn’t matter who the manager is if you don’t get good players in. Not every signing will work but this is a better way to do business than signing the dregs that are left every season.
Better times to be a Walsall fan now.

How often does a player get signed by a club and loaned out but as part of that loan to gain experience they will play European football whilst their parent club doesn’t.
