Has there ever been a time when a manager is up for Manager of the Season and potentially losing his job ?
Furthermore a manager that even if he achieved promotion would not have the backing of a good percentage of the fan base !

The thing that really bothers me is if we scrape our way into league 1,and saddler delights us all with his (front foot ) style of hoofball, I don’t think fans can forget how he has messed these past 4 months up. He’s got some creativity in the squad,but they’re all loan players and don’t even get on the bench. A leopard doesn’t change it’s spots,so it would be more of the same in league 1.
I agree, on this seasons showing Sadler would be massively out of his depths in L1 (along with a lot of the contracted squad). If we make it, and it’s a big if, we cannot come straight back down. We have languished in the bottom division for too long now and I fear an instant return would mean the only way out of L2 in the future would be relegation. The biggest problem I have with MS is he is so stubborn, regardless of form, health or attitude he will pick the same 18 players each week, make the same substitutions irrelevant of what is happening on the pitch and then stand there impassively with arms folding as it all goes to sh*t
The problem is that Trivela would not even contemplate sacking MS, but how long would they give him if current form continued in L1 (or L2 for that matter). It’s a really messy situation, but I swear if I have to listen to one more ‘Listen, thats not like us’ post match interview I’m yeeting my lap top onto the M6.

It can work as a style if you have the right players
When was the last time Jamma won a ball in the air and laid it off to one of his own players? And forest have a hell of a lot more to their game, where as Sadler ( since January) has been boringly one dimensional to absolutely no effect whatsoever. Talk about flogging a dead horse.
