Sadler out! Save our season!

He’s a chancer who rode the crest of a wave.

Even if we do go up, I wouldn’t have a problem with him being let go.

He’d have been gone about 3 weeks ago with Bonser.

Hes not going anywhere.

They arent going to sack him before Monday and they wont pull the trigger with 2 games left.

They’ve slung their lot in with Sadler and they can reap the rewards at the end of the season.

So cock sure of promotion they though they would tie their “biggest asset” down and reap any potential compensation fee. Forgetting the job was half done.

Fook you Trivela and fook that fraud Sadler aswell.

It’s too late now.

Straight after Barrow would have been the right time. It would have represented the right amount amount of faith and patience (that he’d earned btw) but also pressed the right “urgency/refresh” button with the team.

No way he’s going anywhere ahead of Monday.

He should go in the summer. Even if by some miracle we get up, he’s just not up to turning us around from being the 92nd best team in the league to one who can compete 24 places higher.

The bigger worry is that when we don’t go up we keep him and this dross rolls into next season whereupon being the worst team in the land has some real and dire consequences.

Another season in Div 4 will suit Trivela and the other clubs in the group. We are earmarked for incremental improvement

The Irish are in Europe and will turn some big profits for them even if they don’t make the group stages it’s half a mill just for going out in the round they are in. They started well. Pathway to Europe is easily accessible

The Danes are a big challenge for them and the current flagship club. Lots of time and investment needed

Walsall in Div 4 they have lower costs and have the early birds so the status quo remains. Didn’t push the boat out or lift a leg in January.

What they didn’t bank on was this collapse and the swell of negativity heading their way.

We can slate Sadler all we want. These American muppets appointed him and extended his contract TWICE

Some of the most inept management of the game situation I have seen, that’s without the context of the entire season resting on these last few matches.

He has no idea how to change a game.

He doesn’t know what’s gone wrong.

The fear is that in his usual post match drivel he will say that we played well against a good team…utter garbage, away from home they are probably the worst team in our Division (until they came up against the bottom form club that is). We have players in our squad capable of getting us promotion, regrettably even if we did we would do a ‘Carlisle’ and be in the National League in two seasons. Thankfully I’ll be long gone by then, but I did want to see MY team doing well, just once, but weem Walsall aye we…As the wife said just after Xmas, “they’ll go downhill
they always do” so right…

Have you watched Forest’s counter attack? It’s not about lamping the ball up to a target man that never wins a header or even the ball and fouls constantly.

They break at speed, we’ve not played like that all season, even when we were winning.

I agree you don’t need possession to win at football but you can’t treat the ball like a hot potato.

I agree, he should have gone after the shambles at Barrow.

I said the same to the kids, our George made a good point though.

If we did make a change now, we still may have a chance in the playoffs. We have none at all as it stands.

It won’t happen but it should. I can’t put into words how heartbroken I am. It’s a disgrace what has happened in the second half of the season.

Im gutted, furious, angry, pissed off. Everything rolled into one.

Like i said on the matchday thread…

Look at his body language and smugness in the pre-match interview. Thats a man thats been backed until the end of the season and he knows it. Different manner about him to when his arse had dropped out, post Barrow.

We are done.

Agree with this. Boycott just doesn’t get it.

No need for it again then ? :upside_down_face:

Posted in the correct place, for relevance.

Definitely not for the 473rd time though to be fair :speak_no_evil_monkey:

Sadly, I agree.
Irrespective of what happens this season, promoted or not, I agree. Time and again, in the second half of this season, we have been out-thought by wiley, experienced opposition managers who have all found the way to play us (today being no exception). Sadler hasn’t shown the nouse, flexibility or speed of thought to respond.

Welcome to the club mate. I take no pleasure at all in it, but this is the mother of all fcuk ups.

Trivela will undoubtedly look back on this season (eventually) and realise the tipping point was the Cheltenham game where quite appalling game management from MS led to them having the opportunity to hit us for the second and equalising goal…

All MS needed to do was make a sub to take the momentum out of the game and we likely would have held on for a win….

Since then it’s frankly been a shit show with multiple and ongoing bad decisions, stubborn squad picks and underwhelming performances to boot…

Trivela won’t get rid now and although I simply can’t bring myself to contemplate it, we may still achieve something but if we do, it will be down to others and their inability to kill us off that gets us there, not us making the most of the brilliant opportunity we had in front of us in January and taking the fans on a memorable journey out this crap division….

Unless the rapidly disintegrating chance of promotion materialises, Trivela and MS will massively regret what we’ve blown this season, not celebrate it as marginal and measurable improvement…

Get him gone and bring someone in early next week. That at least would give them 2 games to look at the players and hopefully get a bit of organisation into the team so we arent totally embarrassed in the playoffs

Sadler should have gone after Bromley. Too late to rock the boat now, but if we do end up in the playoffs we really do need someone else at the helm before the first leg of the semis… Give us some hope at least, Trivela!
