Really?
I WhatsAppd some mates at 80 minutes saying I felt bereft. Massively over the top I know, given the state of the world. And also given the state of the world, this was a glimmer of something more possible and positive, as well as being a distraction. And it’s just a shitshow that we have watched unfold like a carcrash, unable to control anything and knowing the driver had lost it. That we might still win the league is insane. But I feel no joy… maybe I need to accept that Lowe has kept us up for one more season.
As insane as losing a 12 point lead… And Vale getting battered today by Carlisle shows anything is possible..
We could still win the league, and if we do I want a massive break from football this summer!
Me and you both
Well I’m gonna miss the Accrington game as on hols and some weeks ago was dreading potentially missing us win the title at that game but that ain’t gonna happen…..
Hope you’re right and something still materialises but a break from this team is what we all need right now. It’s been bloody torturous since January….
Heads would fall the f off if we win the title.. that last game of the season will be on a par with the end of 03 when we got relegated. Bloody hell.
Could we win the title on goal difference as well!
Fate would have DJ score the goal!
Sack him tonight , seasons over .. heads should roll now!!
Trivela need to pull their fingers out and get it done.
Jamille Matt is bloody awful at the minute. Doesn’t win any headers, can’t run and just barges his way around.
He’s knackered mate. Sadler has ran him into the ground. Lunacy
Did you read his interview with Sky Sports?
Too late to save our season now - the club bottled it.
We won’t get 3 points from the last 3, never mind the 7-9 we need.
Sadler is a dead man walking - writing was on the wall weeks ago - he’s been found out amongst his fellow professionals
Honestly. Not been a great day, but some of you lot absolutely relish on it and make the day even worse.
I’m glad I don’t live some of your lives. You sound like Port Vale fans
If/when we don’t go up, I sincerely hope he does the right thing and resigns, but I absolutely fear we’ll be stuck with him next season.
No relish here, just concern as I fear this capitulation will consign us to many more years at this level.
But you’re cool with that, so good on ya
Or worse, I very much fear that it would be the start of a terminal slide to non-league - losing becomes a nasty habit.
Not quite over, its still in our own hands, crazily.
Having “not great days” is part and parcel. But around 20 “not great days” on the spin is bloody awful.
And sacking the manager with three games to go is the answer. Give me a break
As I say above. He should have been sacked with four games to go.
Was never gonna happen and would have been ridiculous then too.
