Sadler out! Save our season!

Shook his head at the fans, as if to say “why are you booing”

The bloke is deluded.

Six points from our last ten games. Bottom of the form table on merit.

I suppose some are still getting optimism from the fact that Newport, Accrington and Crewe are also rubbish. They may be rubbish, as were Harrogate today, but are they worse than us?

Hope Boycott sees this and gets his ar$e over here sharpish and stays here until this mess is well and truly sorted.

Is there any way to forfeit the play offs before its played?

Genuinely do not see the point and dont fancy wasting £27 on it

Corpse of a club

Cheers

Yet if we had the form of Accrington or Crewe over the last 10, who are also shocking, we’d probably be promoted by now! That’s how frustrating it is and that is why fans aren’t happy, it’s boiling over because we were so close yet have completely thrown it away.

I can’t be taken seriously.

. But you should be taken seriously because you see nothing wrong with our current record.

Oh and the whole Billy Bescot thing is a bit weird. And there are many other fans now posting not so positive things - but your fixated on me. Maybe because i had a point all
Along ? Or maybe your the type of character enjoys a pile on when there’s some finger pointing to be done. You know the type of person I’m on about don’t you ?

The worst thing about all of this…

Is that I bet you any money - if we didn’t go up and went out in the play offs:

  1. Sadler is going nowhere.
  2. The club would act like it was a great achievement this season.
  3. They would be bemused why we are so pissed off.

I am 100% convinced he will start next season as our manager (if we didn’t go up) - and it would be swept under the table by the club.

Also… come to think of it. How many focus meetings did the club commit to per season? We’ve only had one this season, right?

Too busy faffing about with their new and improved Irish club and a Danish club whose fans don’t want them.

Sadler has completely f*cked this, there is no debate. He has completely lost the squad, destroyed their confidence, fitness, ambition, drive, purpose. This is completely on Sadler!

All he had to do was hold on at Cheltenham for 3pts & nick 2 more wins (so many opportunities) to give us 8 more points and now with 3 games to go leading us to the Championship!

But our clueless clown of a leader, couldn’t find a way. Yes the players could be better, yes Trivela could have done more; but this is totally on Sadler, he is clueless. Totally clueless.

Comments that aged like milk.

It’s mostly on Sadler, but Trivela also have to take a lot of blame. I think they thought the rest of the squad without Lowe was better than it is. Didn’t realise just how important he was, and not just his goals. Yes we tried to bring Draper, but there has to be plenty more options before Harrison and Levi who let’s be honest, although both have shown glimpses, wouldn’t get into any other squad near the top, and we’re all pretty cack.

The players too, lack of fight, lack of leadership. Try harder, get the basics right.

The squad we have, should have been capable of getting 7/8 more points than we have & that’s down to the manager imho. In game mgt, plan A, B, C, motivation, shoring up at the back, not running his players into exhaustion, being flexible, adaptable, honest!

Sadler has f*cked it!

Unless they’re completely thick Waddock and Byfield as a combo would be starting Chang for the last few games I’m fairly sure so that would be a logical selection that would happen with fresh eyes leading.

I don’t agree with this. I think the club are in denial and just hope we can somehow pick up enough ponts to sneak promotion. I don’t think they have any idea what to do and just hope things will change with a win or two.

However, this has not happened and time is running out. They know that screwing up that sort of lead and not getting promotion is failure, they’ve been caught offguard and thought promotion was certain and are now in shock (like us, the supporters).

If we don’t get promotion, I think he’ll be sacked. They can’t afford to do otherwise given their North American sensitivity to consumer satisfaction.

If we do somehow get promotion, they’ll breath a huge sigh of relief and Sadler will stay for the League 1 campaign. He’s unlikely to last long, but that’s how I think it will play out.

I’m probably wrong, but just my thoughts.

I’d go:

Simkin

Barrett Williams Allen Weir

Chang Lakin

Adomah Hall RAM

Harrison

Not a cat in hells chance though. To be honest, given Chang made a few passes and wanted the ball - he will be booted out the squad for Newport.

Disagree there. No promotion and he’s gone as there has to be some accountability for the awful form since mid January and it is pretty much always the manager.

Slumping into 4th now is also a worst finish than a late run into 7th psychologically so no chance Trivela can just play the “well we got into the play offs which everyone would’ve took in August so nothing to see here” line.

There has to be consequences as this run now goes way beyond just getting nervous at the finish line, it has been terrible form (and performances) for nearly three months.

I agree @BathSaddler think Trivela have taken the view that we had enough to get over the line & no-one expected such a sh*t return from the past 18 games!

We are probably only a couple of wins or so short! Those 7/8 points I bang on about, tbh we are so near and yet so far.

Sadler & his coaches are culpable.

I think they think he’s God’s gift mate. Given the messaging from the club (or lack of)… I don’t see them getting rid.

Serious injury to goalkeeper and a couple of late subs would have gained us two points at cheltenham and boy don’t we need those two now. That was basic stuff. He didn’t see it.
