Doesn’t stop him trying to win the ball rather than wrestling and giving needless fouls away, to be honest.
I blame the manager also though. Keeps doing the same things. We are basically playing with 10 men in the second half because Jamille’s legs have gone and he is nuisance value at best.

That’s just a shit argument, how are we to know who’d be interested, I guarantee that there’d be someone on that list who’d do it, but expecting us to name them and berating us when we can’t doesn’t make you right, you just come across as a smug get.

It is just fans opinions, and mine is that Sadler should have been removed after the Barrow shambles, if not before. And also still should be now.
It’s not our job to pick managers. Although I bet there are more than a few on here who would have more idea where to go than our owners, which is part of the problem, I’d suggest.
Stick with it and it is certain failure. Twist and it is still likely, but there may be a chance.

Short term i dont think it matters who we bring in. We just need fresh ideas.
Personally I’d give it to first person who answers the phone, obviously on a short term deal until end of the season.

Not disagreeing mate with you at all. That’s where we need to vary the play and systems. We looked far better when Alfie, Nathan and Uncs came on. Taylor started stepping into midfield, there were 2 players going at the full backs especially Uncs and Liam. We started playing through midfield a lot more with Alfie making an immediate impact with his composure. We never did that for 65 mins of the game. We were one dimensional with the ball up to Jamma and it’s so easy for the opposition to deal with. Like you said he was all arms and legs today with the odd headed chance but apart from that he was blowing his gasket because he’s fatigued. That’s why you vary the play. That’s what the head coach should have done, but is too reluctant to do it until we were losing and it’s happened to often the second half of the season amd it could possibly cost us promotion

It isn’t a name he wants, he says it is but someone gave Lee Johnson as an example, then it turned to the likelihood of him getting a phone call over a bank holiday!

Should have gone weeks ago, his selections looks like he’s chucking mud up the wall and hoping it sticks, exactly as the decisions behind made by the players, bang it down the channels hoping the two exhausted wing backs can get to it before an opponent.
There was a couple of times yesterday when the keeper could have sent the ball early after collecting it but held onto it as obviously instructed too, he made some big saves to keep the score respectable.
As for who takes over ?
Waddock, Byfield, O’Kelly, a senior player like Albert, Matt…. Tbf I wouldn’t be concerned who as long as it’s someone who gives us a fighting chance of promotion and if the worst happens we get to the play offs it gives us fresh impetus because with how we have stagnated under Sadler we won’t win the play offs.
I think the system should have changed weeks ago too, it’s not working any longer with the wing backs so go 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1, a midfield 5 would steady things up, yes on paper we won’t be as attacking but we aren’t anyway.
What a sad position we find ourselves in.

Some of his best combinations have come from him steering away from what he’d like
Gordon getting injured thrust Lowe in to the line up early. Injuries at the back last season pushed Taylor Allen in to a starting role.

We will pick up again. 2 season of Sadler points to this being a characteristic of his management. Ok might not be 9 on the spin but his teams are erratic. I would not be shocked if something sparked 3 straight wins. Or a long run at the start of next season because there is no chance these Americans running the club have inclination, football nouse or interest in our club to remove him from his role.
You watch Wheatley or DJ start on Monday after not even being in the squad yesterday.
The stating 11 and match day squad on Monday is an absolute lottery because Sadler doesn’t know what he is trying to achieve … a comment which in itself is unbelievable. Most of the regular 5k in the stadium can see what is needed and Sadler once again stumbled on another solution when chasing the game yesterday … “I totally out of ideas AGAIN so I will see what happens in the last 10 minutes if I put a calm talented footballer who can keep the ball on the floor in midfield, plus a winger with 700 appearances at a much higher level that this in his preferred position and have a more mobile and energetic guy up front?” … no shit Sherlock you get the best 10 minutes football we have seen in weeks. So we know that the PE teacher won’t make that mistake again before school is out for the summer
