I said the same Ken, surely he replaces the Matt role.
Signing players in January to sit on the bench feels crazy.

This is his 3rd season and does that mean new managers aren’t capable of tactical changes ? How long before he is no longer a rookie and gains an ability point to improve his tactical awareness ?

He didn’t change formation and used a player to stop there best ball player who we all know is the best cm in the league so it’s not a hard decision. He then decided to use that player against everyone in a run after as it worked once and led to a midfield which has been non existent in recent games
