Shrewsbury Town, Walsall, Morecambe Battling For 26-Goal Nigerian-Born Striker

Just seen this on newsnow walsall
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com , Nigerian-born striker Daniel Udoh is attracting huge interest from English Football League clubs ahead of the reopening of the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old frontman had his most successful season as a footballer this term, netting 26 goals from 46 appearances in all competitions, which has put him in the shop window.

He has opted not to renew his contract with non-leaguers AFC Telford United and he’s expected to make a decision on his future at the end of this month.

Seems strange considering we havent got a manager !!

The silly season has started early - but then again, it’s been silly season for us for quite a while now…

For “It is understood that Udoh’s agent has held positive talks with Shrewsbury Town, Walsall, Morecambe F.C and some unnamed National League clubs over a deal” read: his agent has alerted Walsall, Shrewsbury. Morecambe and other unnamed Conference teams to his client, and then informed allnigeriasoccer.com to generate more interest.

Seen him play a couple of times throughout the season - seems decent enough. Would be a slight risk but you never know unless you try.

No we need proven league 2. Gordon, Candlin, Parker are the risk/something to prove strikers on our books. We’re in league 2, no excuse not to have our fair share of proven league 2 players. No reason why we shouldn’t be able to put out an experienced league 2 first 11. We shouldn’t allow the club to fob us off with anything less.

Highly doubt we’re looking at anyone whilst there’s no manager. Not somebody without previous links to club and board anyway!
