Also fairly sure he confirmed he has final say at the meet the manager evenings too.

Is that why he refuses to answer questions (apart from “we’ll see”) about the only thing people want to know, when are we going to get at least one striker before the season starts.
This thinking that the manager Sadler is not responsible for the signings is the same school of thought I hear when we play really bad and lose that the manager can’t be held responsible for poor player performance or individual mistakes farcical defence of someone who’s in charge .

He has definitely confirmed more recently that he has the final say on signings, I can’t remember where I saw it now, but it was within the last week or two.

His body language tells me he has no idea whether we’ll be signing anyone next week and we then panic buy at Aldi.
I shop at Aldi and not once have I panic bought there, spent more than I wanted many time (having a 3 and 5 year old makes that very easy…) but not once panicked…

The way he responded and his body language - stroking the back of his own neck to soothe himself - classic anxiety response of a person trying to give the impression they are controlling a situation the mere mention of which fills them with apprehension.
Actually felt a bit sorry for him there.

At 2. 56 he totally avoids answering which means he’s keeping his powder dry or we’ve got our strike force already.
Personally even as positive as I try to be my honest opinion is Jamma and flash equates to we’re in the shit.
