When the draw was made it wasn’t widely seen as a good draw for us
And if you had asked me THEN what i thought the result would be i would have said a resounding loss
But after the last few performances and with 2000 travelling saddlers barmy army behind them, i can see us getting some sort of result😉
I wish i had your confidence chunkster but even with the wind in our sails i think we will lose, 4-1 my prediction. just hope we can put a decent performance in for the travelling fans.
I’d be more than happy if we could take them to a replay
Just depends what sort of team they put out
Oh, I’m absolutely sure we will get a result.
I’ve just no idea what it will be.
West Ham a magnificent ground? I don’t think so. A glorified athletics stadium miles away from the pitch and totally soulless. All with taxpayers money.
Upton Park, on the other hand, now that was a ground…
Was that supporting Manure?
Or Villa and Wolves?
Yeh always a good atmosphere at upton park.
Scummy area though, remember they had literally nothing on display in their club shop by the ground because it wood get nicked, you told them what you wanted and they’d get it out the back and hood it up behind the counter to show you🤣
I think pre-match you could do worse than head to the fanzone at the ground, That’s where I will be heading with mi familia.
"The fan zone at St Mary’s is open to all home and away supporters on a first come, first served basis to soak up the atmosphere ahead of kick-off. "
Something to do with them being strike breakers (a la Mansfield) I believe.
Chris Sutton is predicting us to win on the BBC.
That’s us out then.
What a tool he is. Hopefully he’s right for once
Na
The selfish bastard is trying to put the mockers on us and playing mind game’s
2,029 sold now, could push 2,300 with same days.
Good effort that.
Amazing support. I genuinely thought we would only take about 800.
Fancy us to nick a draw here if they rest a few.
Me + 1 going now (my daughter has agreed to drive! )
Has cost me a tank of petrol though .
Magnificent support, with the right result it will be one we will be telling the great grandkids about in years to come. Can’t wait to see the look on the Southampton fans faces when they see the size and volume of our travelling gate. Lets hope a few of the extra fifteen hundred in the away audience turn up at Stockport and Gillingham too.
Not going. The logistics got too much for me. My lad is there “representing”. Wasn’t that arsed when I made my decision but following recent results and seeing the size of our following I am having a touch of FOMO.
Hope everyone enjoys it. Free hit this so for once it can be a pretty care free day.
Same for me in a way. Just a bit too far to go unfortunately and since then found out we’re having a surprise 50th meal for my brother in law on Saturday so just as well I didn’t try and get a ticket!
I’ll be making my way to Stockport though.
Ah, but the playing surface is magnificent …one of the best in the country.
